Great place for a cocktail  if you're in the area. The servers are very nice and the drinks good. Well worth visiting if you're in the area.

Great to have a couple of drinks and nibbles before heading to the new theatre across the road.

Lovely selection of wine and great staff - we went in for a refreshing beverage on a 30oC day and the staff made sure we got cold water from the fridge rather than the water sitting out on the bar. It's the little things. Thanks guys, we'll be back!

Great little wine bar but definitely try the cocktails.  I've had many here and all were great. But be warned they are not cheap! Still the atmosphere and staff make it worth the price.

Great little place for a delicious cocktail, or wine. Rob the bar tender is second to none. The prices are reasonable too. If you want good atmosphere, chilled music and good drink this is the place to be.

Awesome little wine bar with a delicious menu.  Fairly extensive wine list. Great atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff.

I had a great time here on a quiet Saturday night. The wine selection is well thought out, and the hosts gracious. Seek this lovely wine bar out if you are in newtown.

I went to Bench last Thursday, the 10th, for my BIRTHDAY,, it was a fantastic night,, food was lovely, service was second to none, I was treated like an old friend honestly their so friendly there,, I'm happy too go there again very soon.. Thank you for a great night a very happy Jan

Very cute and cosy little wine bar. Good wine selection and great cocktails. The share plates are really delicious. I would definitely recommend Bench for drinks on a date or for a cosy tipple with a friend of an evening. It's a shame there aren't more places like this on the south end of King St!
