The room that we got here was gorgeous with a small balcony overlooking the garden and the cottage at the back. The room was plenty spacious, there was a double bed and a single bed and plenty of space still. Air con works very well during the heat wave! Love the home cooked breakfasts that we had! Only a short walk away to the beach and pier if you feel like taking a dip after breakfast, or lunch, or before dinner.

Benambra is a charming old-world haven combined with the comforts of today. Tastefully refurbished, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds with ensuite. Our double room was spacious with a balcony overlooking a lush garden. Geoff & Anne welcomed us warmly and served a delicious cooked breakfast. Our expectations were exceeded by far.

The Room was smaller than my bedroom at home, the bed took up most of the room. A tiny ensuite with no water pressure in the shower and nowhere to hang a towel. There was no TV in the room and the bed was lumpy and too short. The cooked breakfast left me feeling hungry and wasn't very nice. I'd say stay away... David At $175 a night, it was a joke, $70 a night would have been a more realistic price. The cooked breakfast left me feeling hungry and was in no way enjoyable.

We had a wonderful long weekend down at Queenscliff thanks to the friendly people at Benambra. Loved staying in a piece of the town's history and felt very much at home. Oh, and the big brekky was a winner!

This is the worse B & B we have ever stayed in the bed was lumpy rooms were cold heater didn't work felling fan didn't work, and only one side of the electric blanket worked. the staff were not helpful at all. We left a pair of shoes behind when I rang they said they would ring us and let us know how much it would cost to post them back C.O.D. They didn't ring and when I rang they said they didn't be bothered finding out. No service and it took 4 days for them to post them even though they said they would send it that day.
