Awesome first gliding experience! All club members were very friendly and welcoming. Everything ran smoothly, operations seemed well-organised and efficient. Neil was my instructor and was patient, encouraging, and great fun to fly with.
Gliding up in the sky at 3,000 feet with pilot Andrea was an awesome experience! He was confident and in full control of the glider. Also the other volunteers were friendly and passionate about flying.nGaining altitude by riding thermal columns accompanied by a couple of eagles was also one of the highlights of my first gliding flight. I couldn't have imagined a better adventure than this joy flight.nHighly recommended!
Pretty disappointing to be honest. Had to reschedule the flight, due to poor weather, which was absolutely understandable. Having arrived at scheduled time we waited 30 minutes before anyone else arrived. I was in the air exactly 11 minutes due to lack of thermals once again, completely out of anyone's control but $220 seems like a lot for 11 minutes...
Had the most fun going on my first time glider plane!! We were only meant to be up there for 45 mins but he went way over which was really nice, honestly he was just so into it, you could tell her was so passionate that he was happy to stay up there forever, he even said we could stay up all day Mary if you wanted. I only came down cos my kwells was wearing off… and then was 1 hour and 15 mins. Highly recommend, just so amazing how they stay up and they teach you how it works, I found it fascinating. I also got to ride it for a while which was awesome! I would def recommend bringing a bucket hat and sunnies, they have sunblock there they have bucket hats there to buy which I got which was a nice little souvenir.
Had a wonderful flight with Greg but all the members were friendly and helpful it was exciting and fun but also relaxing and beautiful. What a great experience.
