Finally got to eat here as it was on my list of go to places for a while now. 5 levels of spicy chicken, i went medium and it was HOT !! What I wanted but glad I didn't try higher levels of spicy. Mac and cheese waa cold but i came for the chicken and waffles.
Bland food. Worth trying once if you like fried chicken or want to try the spiciness. Limited menu items. Average fried chicken, not a lot of flavours. Subpar sides. The place was the only place in Darling Square not fully packed on a Saturday night. Not a lot of seats inside. Some outdoor seats with heaters. Great service. You can order online by scanning the QR code.
Friendly staff, excellent fried chicken If you like deep fried chicken, i highly recommend this place. Its cooked after you order so you will need to wait for a bit. We ordered chicken wings and drumstick, both were excellent. Wait staff was licking his finger as he was walking around . We get it, its tasty but please don’t do that.
I have been to Belles twice in my life and the first time I was a bit disappointed with the drumsticks that were bland in the middle despite the fiery flavours on the skin. My recent return was a completely different experience. We ordered the bucket to share and were quite impressed with the spicy wings that were tasty throughout. The chips were nice and abundant but the Mac and Cheese needed more seasoning. The sauces also needed more punch, they seemed diluted.
Fried chicken, wings and fries. Too much salt and seasoning on both the wings and the fries, which made it taste the same. Belles chicken burger and katsu burger were delicious. Limited seating, and you can only order through the app, even if you're eating in.
SO MUCH YUM! The chicken here on on fleek, so good. The sides were also nice, but not as nice as the chicken. The spicyness can get pretty hot - I got hot, which I was told was a 5-out-of-10 hotness, but it was pretty warm; I usually love spicy tho, so this was fine for me. Beer here for a can is $10, which is not cheap. I recommend the bucket if you visiting with a group; excellent value compared to ordering separately.
Belles Hot Chicken is a brand new little restaurant in the vibrant Steam Mill Lane. They serve chicken in three different pieces. You have the choice of either tenders, drumsticks or wings with the choice of five different heat strengths from “Southern” to “Really F**kin Hot” with the choice of a few different sides. The chicken came out on a slice of white bread in a basket lined with paper. I don’t eat chicken, so it was great to see the option to order mushrooms or fish on the menu. Everything is deep fried and the servings are quite decent for one person. The device was quick and really friendly. It’s a great place for a quick meal. #letsguide #datenight
Really great southern fried chicken. They do have some of the hottest fried chicken. If you're not feeling spicy, they have classic southern fried chicken. I love getting the chicken tenders with a side of thick cut fries for $18 which is super filling. The pickles are refreshing in between the juicy pieces of fried chicken.
Yum!! Belle’s hot chicken is super juicy and flavoursome! A little expensive but flavour wise it too notch. Sides are a little small for the price, the coleslaw is nice and fresh. Fantastic selection of organic wines, the wine list changes regularly and is always full of interesting choices. Staff are really knowledgeable when it comes to providing tasting notes too!
PWD and kid stroller friendly place. Excellent tasty fried chicken place. place is clean except for the birds who are waiting for food crumbs on the floor. service is acceptable on a non busy day. servers are polite and attentive.
