I have very mixed opinions on this holiday park. It was the first time I had been there and I was very impressed by the customer service at the reception desk, the ease of access, the pricing, and how close it was to the water! Despite being a public holiday, it wasn't very busy, which made our holiday very relaxing. The issues I came across however, was the cleanliness of the place. The ladies bathroom block was disgusting! Only one cubicle had toilet paper, 3 toilets had dirty seats and the entire floor was covered in sand, mud, grass and water! A lady we got chatting to informed us that she had been here a whole week and a half and the toilets hadn't been cleaned once in that time. It was very unacceptable. Then we went to use the kitchen facilities and had to deep clean everything before we could start cooking! Egg on the stove, gum in the sink, crumbs and milk on the tables and an overflowing bin. So like I said...I have very mixed opinions on this holiday park.
Great location along the beach. Lots of small toilet blocks spread across the park that are cleaned regularly. New access gate to exit at the end of ramp road which makes getting a van out much easier. Will definitely be back!
Great caravan park, even the second row camp sites give you an ocean view. The ladies at reception were lovely and very welcoming. The caravan park isn’t fenced so you can walk out onto the beach and follow a path up to the town and pier 10-15min walk. Be aware you can only have one car to per site and your gate passcode is unique to your car and rego. Amenities were spotless, very clean aren’t pin code protected so anyone can enter. I really enjoyed staying here.
Our second visit. Great facilities and always so clean and maintained. Excellent location and great for families or couples. Get a spot by the bay for the best views.
Fantastic holiday park and lovely cabins. Very peaceful. Only thing missing is a pool which would have made it even better but will definitely be back.
Awesome place to stay, very clean cabins & accompanied by very friendly customer service. We stayed in the cabins accomodating 2 adults 3 kids & we absolutely adored the place
Beach pod Perfect location. Perfect pod. But as they are so new they were a huge talking point for everyone walking past. So if your after a private romantic stay then it's not for you. Soooo close to the water so it had amazing views and perfect weather. Only thing that was missing apart from privacy was bowls for my breakfast.
Large well run facility, very clean and well maintained. Great spot.
I'm not a big one for writing for reviews or complaining for that matter, but I feel that something needs to be said. I echo and agree with all the praise about the parks location and facilities, it is incredibly family friendly, we had a wonderful time staying there. But.................... We've stayed here 2 years in a row now and I have NEVER had a pleasant experience with the staff, in particular the ladies on admin. They're nice on the phone, but honestly, when you arrive, it's like they don't want you there, they are blunt and almost aggressive when dealing with any requests or simply just checking in. I know that customer service can be hard and frustrating sometimes, but seriously ladies, if you hate it that much you should start looking in a new industry. You're dealing with customers on holidays..... most people are in a good mood when on their summer break so I can't imagine too many guests being overly difficult to deal with to the point where the bad mood spills over to the next client. I'm not a needy or aggressive guy, but in my 2 experiences with the office staff on my most recent stay check-in and check-out, I try not to go in there for obvious reasons I was made to feel like the most impatient and difficult a____hole. They have the popular "no one deserves to have a serve" slogan posters displayed at the front desk, one which I fully support and agree with, but I'm sure if they treat most people the way they treated me, they would have probably received one or two acid comments this summer. I honestly felt like ripping the poster down and flipping it round to face them. Probably shouldn't lob all staff into this category, the ground staff were pleasant enough and the poor young girl who was given the unfortunate task of enforcing some, quite frankly ridiculous gazebo rules did so pleasantly and graciously. The problem is, the park and location is great, so I guess people will always return as will we next year if this review doesn't black list me and my comments will fall upon deaf ears, I'm anticipating the attitudes towards guests will stay the same.
Hired a family cabin for a few days after Easter. From the welcoming staff in reception, to park facilities & the cabin set up, we were impressed. Compliments to the cleaners for their thoroughness. Spotless! We'll be back!
