We had a fantastic stay here. We've been a couple of times now and always enjoy it. The cottages are really nice and the spa baths are great. It's a great location within the trees. And it's just a short walk down the hill to the RAC Karri valley resort - so you can wander down there for happy hour and coffees and food whenever you need. Overall we really love the cottages and will definitely try and make it a annual trip.
This really depends on the room you get. We hired two bungalows, one was very good the other not so good. We stayed in one called Robin Hood. One of the original cottages. It had its charm but four people, very cramped. Tiny kitchen, small bathroom and very tight bedrooms. It was also very noisy, the walls were paper thin and the floor very creaky. Lots of movement too when you walk around. Not sounding like an elephant was quite the trick. Our bed wasn't very good either, soft and small. I'd give that particular cottage 2 stars. Other cottages are very different though, they've got some amazing cottages! My parents had a really good size bed that was very comfortable, a large kitchen and large bedroom. They'll be 4 stars and others even 5 stars. On the property isn't much on offer. They have something that used to be a tennis court which is great to play other games on. They also have DVDs you can borrow for free to watch, and a few games. Also plenty of kangaroos hopping around. Phone reception only works for Telstra and even that only just. But you can use wifi at reception. It's a 10 minute walk to the lake. I forgot to take photos of the rooms...
We had an fantastic and magical stay at the Romeo Cottage! Surrounded by forrest, friendly kangaroos and birds, was just what the doctor ordered! A quiet, private place away from the busy everyday life! The Beedelup falls is just a short hike away 800m This cottage is very clean, has everything you could possibly need and the beds were very comfortable! The best part was the spa bath that you could sit in and look out at the trees and animals!! We would definitely be coming back!! Xxx
Spent three nights in the Gretel cottage. Cottage was perfect for what we wanted - quiet, scenic, private and cozy! The place is certainly a little rustic but I think that just adds to the charm. Highlights were the spa, the very comfy bed and the variety of local birds who loved hanging out on the balcony!Rooms: 5/5
Our stay was absolutely perfect. It an amazing gateway for couples. We stayed in Hansel Cottage. They have everything cleaned and ready to enjoy. Hot Tub Comfy Bed Amazing View and sound Birds & Kangaroos Lovely chimenea BBQ Stove Cutlery Coffee, tea, milk, sugar, paper towels, freezer, cutlery, pots. Thank you. We loved our time there
Wonderful place located at Beedelup National Park. A real cabin in the woods experience. Wildlife always paying us a visit, and the kids loved it. The open fire place was great too. The owners were warm and welcoming and I was amazed at how much provisions were there for us in the cabin. Thank you
We booked for the location in the forest, somewhere more isolated, and the bath. All three of these expectations were met and exceeded! It was a lovely cottage that felt very private, in the middle of the forest. If not for the sounds of the trees and creatures that live in them, I could say it was very quiet too! Enjoying a bath each day sitting in the forest window was delightful. The place was tidy, and the kitchen was well equipped to prepare and cook meals.
Bev and the team make staying here an absolute joy. Love coming here any time of year but winter is great if you love watching kangaroos on the tennis court, hiking around lake Beedelup, visiting the spectacular falls, gazing out from a hot bubble bath into the trees or cozying up on the couch in front of an old classic DVD then this place is for you !
Beautiful, secluded forest location with everything you need. Hosts were lovely and chatty, and provided heaps of tips and advice for our stay. The fireplace and spa was perfect, and the friendly birds and kangaroos kept the family endlessly entertained. Bibbulman track, Beedelup falls and Karri valley resort all within walking distance. We will definitely be back!
Stunning little hideaway in the forest. Amazing to wake up to the forest sounds and abundant bird calls. The cottage was comfortable and private and our favourite was the real wood fire! What a treat to chat to the kookaburra in the branch right next to you whilst relaxing in the jacuzzi.
