*VERY BAD EXPERIENCE*
Took my puppy to see the doctor which was good but then was handed over to the nurse to clip the dogs nails. From the start the nurse wasn’t welcoming to the dog or us like others at the Vet. I was holding my puppy while the nurse was clipping its nails and due to being only 1 year old the puppy was uncomfortable and terrified. The nurse got fed up with the puppy moving whilst cutting the nails and she blamed it on the us for not training the puppy properly. Therefore, she asked the pup to be placed on a table which was fine but then told me to hold the pup very tight from the neck and stomach because it was trying to run away. Getting more frustrated she tried to strangle the dog and in defence the little pup tried to run and accidentally scratched her which she claims was a bite. She also threatened that the pup can be put down if it bites although the pup was perfectly fine and playful whilst seeing the doctor 5 minutes before seeing the nurse. She is a one years old and has never bitten or been aggressive towards anyone. Due to the scratch, she furiously strangled the puppy so hard to point where the puppy started crying and pooed in fear. Next thing we know is the dog bleeding because of 2 nails been cut deeper than usual, which may be the reason why the puppy kept trying to run but when I looked down and saw the blood and poop, I asked her to stop what she was doing and then I was handed ear buds with some medicine to apply over the bleeding nails. After a couple of minutes the bleeding stopped and then puppy was washed by the nurse and I. After the wash we paid and left straight away as this was very upsetting seeing my puppy frightened and mistreated. Later on the day I called the veterinary to make a complaint regarding this situation and the same nurse answered the phone and agreed her behaviour was unprofessional and claimed her pay will be cut as she made a report against herself, which seemed to be a joke. I wasn’t able to get in contact with anyone higher in the clinic therefore I am leaving this review. Cutting her pay doesn’t affect me but knowing that there is a very unprofessional nurse limits me taking my dog to this veterinary. 

Past experiences here were always good but this nurse has really upset me with her actions.
