Thank you to Jason and the staff at Beacon Aged Care for providing clarity around the aged care system and how best to manage our family finances during this stressful time. All staff I spoke with with were friendly and professional and Jason was kind enough to follow up with me when circumstances had changed several weeks after our initial consultation. Great service. Highly recommend.
I engaged Renee Sullivan from “Beacon aged care and retirement advisers”, to assist with transitioning my Mother from living in her own home, to moving into a nursing home. I had heard from other people in similar circumstances that Beacon had helped them to make the transition, and how Beacon had made the process simple, worry free and easy to understand. So based on these referrals, I contacted Beacon. Renee and her team at Beacon did a marvellous job, she provided a very clear and easily understood written plan, detailing the step by step process, the potential problems and how to avoid them. The plan clearly listed all the financial scenarios that would impact my mother and gave clear advice as which path would best suit her situation. Renee also detailed strategies to ensure my mother receives the maximum benefits she is entitled to. My advice to anyone preparing to enter assisted living situations; get Renee’s professional advice, follow the plan and save yourself a lot frustration, money and regret.
Beacon was referred to me by a well trusted solicitor I have been dealing with for the last18 years. He assured me that Beacon would be able to assist with all my questions in regard to the minefield that is Aged Care to the uneducated. He was 100% right. Jason was a "Fountain of Knowledge". Absolutely no question was off the table and his communication skills were second to none. He enabled me to feel confident that the process was not difficult and assisted in putting together a strategy that took all the angst out of the situation for both myself and my Uncle. Would definately recommend Jason to one and all.

Jason and his team have been amazing. It has been so important that we received aged care financial planning advice before we entered our aged care facility. It has helped take away a lot of the worry and stress of the financial unknowns and we have been given the best possible financial direction moving forward. Jason and the team have also been so amazing helping to negotiate and liaise with our chosen facility which has take that pressure of as well, let alone being our Centrelink nominees moving forward so they can handle the complexities of managing and dealing with Centrelink which can be a nightmare.
