I couldn’t get any help this morning no matter how obvious l made it. When l walked out without purchase, l thought I’d ring to give feedback about my experience.nTHIS IS A WARNING TO ANYBODY THAT WANTS TO GIVE FEEDBACK - unless you are idolising the young staff there - DON’T GIVE FEEDBACK!! We are currently traveling Aust and during a hiatus from campng we stayed a few weeks in Cairns at the bro in laws place. We visited this BCF store on this occasion 1 to get his Jarvis Walker reel repaired and 2  to buy ourselves an Oztent spreader pole. The guy in the repair shop replaced the broken handle on the reel with a good used item from his spare parts and didn't even charge us. When we went to find the spreader pole in the camping area a young brunette lady checked their stock then informed us they didn't have the exact item so we told her not to worry and we went to buy some bait, while we went to the counter to pay for it she approached us and said she just done a Google search and told us where we could buy the Oztent part locally. Talk about brilliant service we actually left there feeling elated. We would highly recommend this store especially for its high quality and amazing staff nBill & Pam  - Perth

Highly recommend that you hire people who actually go outdoors, or are sociable enough to speak to your customers. Sick of inexperienced, immature staff who look angry at the mere fact that you've approached them.

Great visit for a quick stop. The employee that helped us, Zachery, was very nice, kind and went out of his way to make sure we got and knew everything we needed before deciding on a purchase. He was able to offer a lot of insight being a local in Cairns, which was above our expectations. The other staff weren't as friendly, but that might be because of the high standard set by Zachery. The only thing to complain about is the products were a bit pricey and the wetsuit size we were looking for was out of stock. But otherwise, overall great experience.
