I needed a pair of much-loved boots resoled - they had a foam rubber sole, which meant that every shoe repairer I'd asked for an opinion wouldn't do them. I called in to Bayside to see if they could be done just before the new year, which meant Frankie had to contact his suppliers after they returned to work in mid-January to chase materials, which he did and called me with the result. Not only did Frankie agree to resole them, he sourced a sole which is virtually identical to the original, meaning they now look and feel as-new. Great service and can't fault the result.

I have a pair of Hudson Chukkas that I bought in London that I wear constantly because they're so comfortable, look good with everything and also have sentimental value. My love of them meant that natural wear and tear came early and had them looking like they needed to be retired...or so I thought until I took them to Bayside Shoe Care. Frank, the owner was lovely to talk to, he explained in layman's terms what needed to be done and I left feeling confident. And I was right, they look as good as new with new soles, matching laces and new inner soles!
