Bayside Rock is Melbourne's premier climbing facility. With world class bouldering, roped climbing, high ropes obstacle course and a well equipped kids climbing area, there really is something to challenge everyone.



"Bayside Rock Climbing is a Rock Climbing Gym in Carrum downs Vic. We offer a number of activities including Climb Time that is perfect for kids of all ages including 25 fully automated climbing stations, climbing walls, cargo nets, caving and even spider mountain! Top Rope Climbing on 50+ well spaced Top Ropes, heaps of lead climbing and great climbs set by Australian National Champion. High Ropes Course of 50+ metre long, 9 station indoor high ropes obstacle course with Balance Beam, Cable Walk, Broken Bridge, Barrel Crawl, Space Jump and more. We also offer over 300m2 of bouldering with a large chill out area to rest between problems. We offer rock climbing coaching classes for kids under 12, juniors and adults. Located in Carrum Downs..."

Fantastic spot with extremely helpful staff. Kids 8 & 10 love the auto belays in Climb Time. Extremely easy to use and several levels of difficulty means we all finish tired out while having a blast. Bouldering upstairs is perfect for a shorter and more intense workout, with new problems each week, sometimes more frequently. This spot will keep you coming back, which is great because memberships are well priced. Easy 5 stars.
Such a great place for little climbers. My 4 and 6 year old have a wonderful time. They love the caves! Such a great idea. They have lots of options to climb too. Great for strength and resilience. Awesome staff and some food and drink options.
Took a group of teenage girls for a session on the weekend, they had a ball. The auto belay system allowed them to hook themselves on and off to each climbing point without worry. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Solid climbing spot. Super friendly staff and creative route setting. Unfortunately I’m not strong enough to do most of the bouldering, the difficulty spike is massive for me. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to try. It’s very fairly priced and always a good time.

Bayside Rock climbing is a great place for all ages, I even got to do some climbing, and I surprised myself at how well I climbed. It is set up for anyone to have a go! Do try it, it is so much fun! Prices are reasonable too.
First time it was for kids and thier friends birthday special. But next time i was all in and me n my kids had a blast .. surely looking forward to visit again

Awesome gym, awesome people. Lots of things going on at this gym. Yoga, youth classes, comps etc. Great setting and their bouldering section has really improved over the last year or so.
