I strongly recommend Janie,  I arrived 9 months down the track after a  double injury to my Lymphoma leg, that had not come right after seeing 2 other therapists..... I had never heard the word 'lymphoedema' until I was diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago. Having had two surgeries (one to remove lymph nodes), I was now at risk of getting lymphoedema.  This is permanent swelling of part or parts of the body which can occur when fluid builds up because the lymphatic system doesn't work properly anymore.  Two years down the track and I am still experiencing fluid build up so I was referred to Janie at Bay Physiotherapy.  Not only has Janie completed lymphatic massage on me and shown me how to decrease the risk of permanent lymphoedema, she has also done some work around the scars that were left after the surgeries.  After only a couple of visits to see Janie, the range of movement I now have with my arm is unbelievable!  I would recommend anyone that has had surgery to remove lymph nodes makes an appointment with the lovely Janie or her team.  I just wish I had seen her earlier!
