I looked this place up on BeanHunter. The coffee is delicious and the food is great. Nice vibe and the best soundtrack - took me straight back to the 80s - awesome!!!
Food is fresh, interesting and tasty! They do a good brunch and lunch. At night they turn into a lively bar, with a good selection of beers and wines. They also have a good bathroom, which I think everybody appreciates. AmIright?
Bat country is a great venue. Always a good vibe. Had breakfast there this morning and the service from all the staff was great as usual. Friendly atmosphere and very welcoming. I highly recommend having breakfast and coffee there.
Not a bad place to go for a weekend feed ... Music playlist is good but it would really do justice to the place if they had local acoustic acts playing.
Relaxed atmosphere, friendly. Food was delicious, and high quality.
The male bartender made the most amazing old style sazerac that blew my head off. Top quality, the kind you'd only find in New Orleans. Will definitely be coming back. Had a blast. 11/10.
Bat Country is the best bar in Eastern Sydney. The decor and Hunter S. Thompson theme is genius, the music always on point, the cocktails and wine list top notch and they have beer on tap. To top it off, the kitchen staff are talented and they serve up really good value for money meals. Looking forward to going back when I can.
Chef James' salt and pepper squid was delicious and Dee's surprise strawberry cocktail was the perfect accompaniment- thank you Team BC
