New low for lifegrain... thinnest possible slices of tomato and mozzarella, few sad pieces of basil and tiny amount of pesto on one side of sandwich with nothing on the other for $9
Never again. I am a regular customer here and often buy different products. After my recent experience of purchasing 3 fresh squeezed juices - $7.50 a juice, costing $22.50 . This is what I received.
Large coffee shop/ canteen at Prince of Wales Hospital. Coffee is on the expensive side. Good selection of hot and cold food. Lovely friendly staff. Very busy in the morning and again around 10 with staff orders.
Bought a Caesar wrap for $7.50 for my mum at the hospital. I was surprised to find only half of a wrap in the bag. I went back and the staff apologetically explained that was the size. One star for the lovely staff, 0 stars for management that decided half sized wraps is acceptable. If you are selling a half size wrap, label it as a half size wrap.
I have finally been driven beyond coping with the disgraceful food and pricing. Over priced and food you that is largely inedible.
Cafe inside the hospital, prices are very high and quality is ok but not worth the price. If you can go to a local cafe in the area instead I would advise you do soFood: 3/5
I was waiting for my friend having an early day surgery had a breakie and a coffee it was so quick nice hot food, great coffee i had so far very friendly smiling face staff, clean and the kitchen staff made sure they have a freshly cook hot foods, i had an amazing time while waiting for the discharge. Salute to the LifeGrain staff as a whole. Keep up the good vibes and work
The best coffee I ever had! Tastes so delicious also when I ask for extra hot coffee, they just make it right. they don’t make it hot to burn extent. Amazing lovely staff as well.
Good location as I’m a hospital staff. Good variety of food to choose from and open early. To improve, quality of coffee has been dropping a lot. Baristas need more training and are required to pay attention to details much more as my cappuccinos have frequently been flatwhites. Pricing has been set on the high side ie. $13-14 for a serve of rice and stir fry pork pre made in the food warmer. Staff discount of 10% is given when only asked. Regardless of the wear of uniform with staff ID displayed, yes you still need to ask each visit if you want the 10% off. On the other hand, the cashier never fail to add extra 10% surcharge on public holidays.
This cafe got efficient and friendly staffs.. Got my early coffee this morning for the first time. And the service went great... It was busy and I thought it'll be a bit long queue, but they did my coffee really quick and tasted good. The best part, I saw they always delivered every single cup with a bright smile in their faces. Would like to recommend anyone to come here for coffee if you visit the hospital. Your service made me spare my time to leave review.. Keep it up
