Dangerous dog breeds are allowed to run free off leaches or with no nozzle on some public areas including parks, reserves and other areas of the responsibility of the Bass Coast Shire Council, VIC. The law is clear on the responsibility of the Shire Council to properly patrol these areas under the legislation to garantee the safety of the public in relation to dog attacks. In recent months we had dog attacks in our community that led to harm to the residents of the community and tourists. Under the law the Shire Council is responsible to investigate the attacks and take necessary steps to apply fines to dog owners and apply new measures to avoid future attacks. Something that agravantes the problem of the dog attacks is the fact that the investigation of the Bass Coast Shire Council is very shallow, fines are not applied to dog owners and actions to avoid future attacks are never properly implemented. Is the Shire Council going to penalise the voters that put them in power? Are the representatives of the Shire Council trying to cover up their incompetence to properly patrol the public areas as per their responsabilities and under the law? PLEASE THINK AND ACT.
I would like Donna Taylor to provide the affidavit that she said was attached the the report produced as a result of forced entry into my home by San Remo police, a locksmith and 2 detectives and two council staff.nIf a magistrate has authorised a warrant to do this, the grounds for doing so ought to be transparent. Particularly so when it was falsely stated that the affidavit was attached on two occasions on two documents generated through this particular group on council. Council otherwise in other departments have been exceptional.
Not happy, they sprayed the weeds In the back lane of Storey St North Wonthaggi , they sprayed my passion fruit vine that the local children used to pick passion fruit off, and killed it ,also killed our nectarine tree that is 2 mtrs inside the fence line, not happy, not their responsibility is their usual response. Lived here for over 60 years, worst council ever. Money hungry maggots.....
Bass coast shire council have been consistently friendly, helpful and efficient with every enquiry I have made. Their service is phenomenal in comparison to my previous councils so I am confused by the negative reviews.nnThey are quick to answer the phone, have always been so willing to help and action my requests, even when complex, immediately.
I reported a large pothole surf beach rd a couple days ago Danny from bass coast council rang me to say been fixed such good service from Bass coast shire thank you
