Brilliant waterfall to visit if it has rained recently and if there's been a heavy rain then make sure you go. Well worth the trip and it's on a main gravel road which is the only one waterfall or creek that is along that road. It's a nice board walk down and there is plenty of parking with toilets at the top. You may also get to see the train that also runs past the bottom of the boardwalk. What more reasons do you need to check it out! 😊

Fabulous boardwalk through rajnforest. Great views of falls. Easy going mostly - time depending on fitness but I would take my 85 year old slowing mother on foot even though we now ask for a wheelchair to get her through larger airports.

The view is quite something, and the amenities are clean. Short easy drive or walk(@5km) from Kuranda business centre. Though only a trickle flowing over falls when I visited, during full flood the Barron falls are spectacular. You can do a rail carriage ride, or cable car ride to view them as well.

Excellent place for hiking and see waterfall from different location. It is better to drive at this location and spend quality time without waiting for a train :)
