Flying visit to this really beautiful studio space and wonderful instructors during a holiday to Brisbane. The barre workout is enough to keep you engaged with lots of modifiers to make it easier/harder if required. Perfect for that between Christmas/New year's period making sure you worked hard enough.
I've always been someone who never really understood why people enjoy like GENUINELY enjoy working out or heading to the gym. I've always thought it's something you begrudgingly go and do. Yes you feel good afterwards but it was always a struggle for me to actually get my foot in the door. I signed up to Barre Body on an intro pass on a whim and it's been my second week and I finally get it - I just haven't been doing the right workout for me! I've tried out both the Newstead and CBD studio and have loved both! From the beautiful airy and bright studio, the very helpful, supportive and amazing instructors, the wide variety of classes and how different they all are, the intense burn that I've come to kinda enjoy?!? to the little things like the lovely tea we can enjoy before class on the lounge and the luxe body spray and dry shampoo left out for us to use, Barre Body has truly become part of my new routine and I can genuinely say now that I enjoy working out I've done 7 classes now and even in the short time frame I can feel myself getting stronger and even noticing some muscles and that's the best feeling of all ! Knowing what my body is capable of I definitely will be signing up to be a member once my intro pass runs out and I really hope the pop up Newstead studio becomes a permanent !
I love this place! The classes have helped me not only to become fit but also to reconnect with inner self, something that im grateful for. The teachers are truly inspiring, it’s just a community you wanna be part of! The workouts are amazing, each one is different and designed to push your limits... plus they are super fun. The bonus part is how pretty the studio is... I reckon it is my favourite place in Brisbane now, so in love!
I love coming to Barre Body each week to try a new class and revisit my favourites Dance Cardio is a must!. The studio is airy, light and spacious. They also have a variety of teas that you can enjoy before or after the class which is another thing to look forward to! The instructors are attentive and each class is better than the last!
Upon a high recommendation from another Barre Instructor in Perth, WA, I put my faith and beer and pizza body in the guidance of my new instructors when I arrived here in Brisbane. It's been absolutely amazing! The variety of classes, routines and styles that I have encountered has truly had a positive effect, both physically and mentally. My only regret is that due to my work, I can't stay longer. There's a little gem in Brisbane, and you'll find it at Barre Body.
I LOVE barre body! The studio is very airy, spacious and there are lots of green plants Instructors are AMAZING. Every barre class at barre body feels like a self treat. The workouts are real killer but I also feel very calm after the classes They serve herbal tea before and after the classes which is a heartful touch I cannot wait to go to more classes at barre body
From the moment you step onto your mat you are taken away from all the stress of the day and are rewarded for spending time on yourself. The instructors are all wonderful and each class is very different. The instructors take their time to ensure you are doing each exercise correctly and you definitely feel the burn! No need to be super flexible, coordinated or fit - this class works for all levels.
I did my first Barre class at this studio through ClassPass while I was holidaying interstate. I credit the three classes I took here as persuading me to join Barre Body on a membership basis when I returned home. The studio here is stunning - lots of natural light, spacious and the instructors were fantastic. I am really happy I decided to give Barre Body a go! I've previously maintained fitness through gym memberships, various HIIT/circuit styles etc. but have finally found a workout that I look forward to completing.
Potentially the world’s dreamiest studio. High ceilings, hardwood floors, beautiful character windows + even a dedicated seating area to enjoy a cup of freshly brewed tea before/after class. Whole studio smells delish - you can’t help but feel instantly relaxed as soon as you enter! The Barre classes themselves were great, the teachers are obviously given space to be creative with their plans as every workout was totally different but they still felt very consistent and cohesive. Teachers were super welcoming and kind - this studio does an admirable job at making all the women feel safe, accepted and comfortable regardless of fitness level/experience/body shape. If you’re on the hunt for an oasis tucked away in the CBD to help de-stress, work hard, feel the burn and get stronger in style then I’d recommend this studio in a heartbeat. Extra thanks to the lovely manager, Lilly, who lead the most perfect Fri morning Barre sesh followed by a juicy stretch and thoughtful relaxation with the most beautiful smelling essential oils!. Whole experience was a total treat - simply divine Xx
Have never been able to find a workout that has helped me as I always had issues with going to the gym and wouldn’t know a clue on what was the right way to workout. Coming to Barre Body has helped so much and I’m glad the girls that have reached me still help you to show you the right way to do a movement! Life has never been better :
