Bankstown Sports Club is one of the largest clubs in NSW, supporting more than 40 local sporting clubs and over 6,000 individuals who participate in sport, as well as hundreds of local charities and community groups.

With more than 65,000 members, Bankstown Sports is one of Sydney’s top 10 registered clubs, employing over 500 staff and offering a fun, exciting and safe entertainment destination in the southwest.

Unfortunately, we had a negative experience with a receptionist at the club that left us feeling unnecessarily belittled.nnWe had difficulty finding parking in Bankstown and decided to try the club’s car park. We made an honest mistake by not noticing the strict parking rules, including the requirement to validate our ticket. We fully acknowledge this oversight and understand the club’s policies.nnOur issue is with the receptionist’s passive-aggressive and condescending manner. When we were honest about not having used the club’s facilities, he responded in a way that felt like a lecture rather than an explanation. While we appreciate that it is his role to enforce the rules, the way he spoke made us feel as though we were being scolded, rather than simply informed. A kind, respectful explanation would have been the more appropriate response. In fact, the bare minimum response!nnWe would have been happy to pay any required fee, and we did not behave defensively. We had to ask what our options were because the receptionist appeared more focused on speaking down to us than providing guidance.nnWe also observed his poor people skills in the way he spoke impatiently to another guest who was unsure how to scan into the machines. Our past interactions with reception staff from sports/local clubs have always been warm and friendly. Unfortunately, our experience at Bankstown Sports Club was an exception, and a disappointing one, especially given that first impressions are lasting.

I had a fantastic experience thanks to Naiah, who was working in the gambling section. She went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met and made me feel genuinely welcome. The area was spotless, well-maintained, and she carried herself with such a personable and friendly attitude.nnHer professionalism, attention to detail, and positive energy made the whole visit enjoyable. Staff like Naiah truly make a difference — she’s an asset to the venue.nnHighly recommended!

Occasion was a family catch up dinner. We choose Stuzzichino resturant. We shared gorgeous pizzas, pasta risotto and salads. Paired with few bottles of red and sparkling SA wines. Great service amazing food highly recommended. After dinner we went up to Lady Banks had some cocktails and a bottle of Tattenger Gorgeous decor great vides and the DJ that night she was super friendly and cute

This place delivered. We dined at Stuzzichino the full service Italian restaurant inside La Piazza. The service team are marvellous: Giuseppe, Madi, Frannie, Luca all looked after us. We will be back.

Dined at La Piazza Ristorante yesterday and both my  husband and  l suffered severe food poisoning after trying the octopus dish. It’s a beautiful club and we were looking forward to going there even though it was a 90 minute drive  however not sure if we will ever return after the experience we had.
