There needs to be a definite change, more nurses and doctors should be dedicated to the emergency department, once seen from triage, no one attends to you for any pain management for hours, people lying in the waiting area with blankets, rubbish on the floors, how has our health system in 2025 become so BROKEN where people are waiting for hours to seek medical attention. Health Minster must be delusional to think we have a great system, perhaps take a seat and see the shit everyone has to go through, we are not in a third world country!! even then I think you would get better service.
Wednesday 18th of June 2025 I was transported to your hospital by ambulance due to excruciating and uncontrollable pain caused by endometriosis a condition I have been battling with for years. Over the past three weeks, my symptoms have worsened significantly. I have been experiencing unbearable pain, heavy blood loss, and long hours of immobility due to the severity of the condition. It has left me physically and emotionally drained.nnUpon arrival at your Emergency Department, I expected to receive appropriate medical care and support. Instead, I was discharged after barely an hour without any investigation, assistance, or concern for the intensity of my symptoms. What was most distressing was the way I was spoken to by the junior doctor on duty, who told me, “I see this every day,” and that he didn’t feel sorry for me. His comments were not only unprofessional but deeply traumatic. I did not attend your hospital for sympathy I came because I was in severe pain and needed urgent medical attention.nnEndometriosis is already a condition that is widely misunderstood and under-recognised in medical settings. The last thing any woman should experience in a hospital emergency room is judgment, minimisation, and a lack of compassion. It is clear that more training and awareness are desperately needed among your staff when it comes to managing and understanding endometriosis.nnYour doctors need to pull up worst hospital to ever exist
Calling this hospital to be transferred to a patient is chaos. I spent 40 minutes on hold yesterday and during that time I was transferred 7 times. No staff member knew where this patient was and 2 separate staff members didn't know how to transfer phone calls so they resorted to hanging up the phone. This would then restart the process of me calling the help desk for assistance. It is extremely frustrating.
Go here if you want to Die.nnForget about the wait times, it’s the miss diagnosis that occurs here daily! Went in for extreme pain, they told me it’s a UTI and take some antibiotics and sent me home 3 days later the pain never went away - turns out I have a appendicitis which was discovered from a seperate GP and CT scan
Worst experience ever in a public hospital emergency . A pregnant woman in her 19 weeks went there as was feeling uncomfortable. The nurse took her urin and gave her only panadol as feeling slight pain. After 45 mins of waiting- they said no blood test is needed and what is worst was - they said to see a doctor it will be 6-8 hours of waiting which is next day morning. They also said better to see a GP. I couldn’t believe it - how a hospital emergency can treat a pregnant woman like this !!!! Totally irresponsible!!!?
