Came here for our daughter's 6 week vaccination. Great end-to-end experience, right from the front desk to the nurse / doctor. Our Doctor Priyanka? was very personable, and provided great and comforting counsel. I have tried a couple of GPs in the area and I think this will be our go-to from now.
I had an excellent experience at this practice. My little boy came home from daycare at 5:30pm unwell and really needing to be seen urgently. Our usual doctor wasn't able to help, everywhere local was booked out for the evening and I wanted to avoid the long wait at hospital. The receptionist at Balmain village health was so lovely on the phone and fitted my son in as a new patient very quickly. We didn't have to wait at all when we arrived and saw a lovely doctor Priyanka who was very kind and patient with my son who was quite upset and very noisy about it. The receptionist was so kind and patient with getting the forms filled in while I juggled a distressed child, and we left with the badly needed antibiotics feeling very relieved. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this practice.
Oh well this is the worst ever u can do is to come here My daughter got always runny nose And I went to there to get check on the rush Dr didn’t want see her because of her runny nose What the ……. Why u act like is something from the other world I done rat test home for her two days ago was negative still she told me am pregnant I can’t see patient that got any cold or flu ?!!!! Excuse me So why any one will go see DR for ???????????
Came this morning. my 4-year-old son has an I believe ear infection with flu, But guess what this GP doesn't look after sick people. Because he has the flu they reject the look after him. This should be against the code of ethic
I would like to thank Dr Bonning for taking the time to call me after hours to enquire about my ongoing treatment. Throughout my treatment, Dr Bonning has been most attentive and caring. This Doctor is a true healer.
My 15mo daughter’s eardrum burst in the late afternoon and we needed to seek after hours medical care. After being told the wait at Balmain Casualty would be about two hours, we called Balmain Village Health. The doctor’s were lovely there and squeezed us in as an emergency case between patients at 7pm. While we waited to be seen about 5min-10min, noting we had no appointment, my daughter explored the waiting area happily. The waiting area is beautiful and clean and I had no concerns about my daughter moving around and interacting with the toys, books and furniture. Dr Zoe Case saw us in her room, and was able to stealthily clear my daughter’s ear and inspect it without us having to restrain my daughter. My daughter was happy the entire time. Dr Case was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. She advised us of what illnesses were going around and prescribed antibiotics for my daughter’s ear and a confident and sensible regimen for us to follow for the next two weeks. We booked a follow up appointment. It was all an efficient process and my daughter was home in time for bed.
Words cannot express my complete disgust at the "service" I received at this doctors and if it was possible this would be zero star review. All started fine, I attended saw a Doctor and was prescribed antibiotics for a painful cist under my arm, there were 6 days worth of antibiotics and when they ran out my cist was much better although not completely, so i ran and asked for some more. Unfortunately the doctor I had seen was apparently part time so I could not renew my prescription on Monday, unless I wanted to spend another $90 to see a different doctor to get exactly the same prescription, I did not want to do this so took option B which was to wait until the same doctor was in on Wednesday and just get the prescription renewed then, the receptionist assured me that I would be contacted first thing in the morning 8am by said doctor. Wednesday comes it's approaching 9am still no call, so i ring them to find out why, apparently a different receptionist knows nothing of my previous conversation and my doctor is off sick, I am fairly annoyed at this point and want a solution and my medication asap, but again this is a problem and they again want me to go in see another doctor and pay $90, not ok, not a reasonable solution, please try again. So the receptionist says she will get the practice manager to call in an hour, which she does, to tell me how unreasonable I am and how her staff are upset and what a terribly naughty boy I am oh and that what i am saying and what I was told by the first receptionist is all just "hear say". yet another cracking bit of customer service . I had actually resolved the issue independently of this medical practice nightmare, by ordering my prescription from an online doctor for $15, which i recommend everyone to try, it was swift, hassle and idiot free and a much better experience all round. I look forward to reading your pathetic, pithy reply to my review, I have seen that you don't seem to be able to take negative feedback well and act on it to benefit your customer/patients. I wont be back and will recommend others to avoid at all costs.
Wonderfully helpful, kind and talented Doctors, receptionist and nurse. I cannot speak highly enough of this caring team. It's not easy to find a fantastic Dr that you have absolute faith in. I've lived in Balmain for 6 years and feel lucky to have found such a great Doctor Dr Zoe Case. All the staff are really lovely and the Nurse Luis goes above and beyond. Very clean and modern facilities actually feels like your in a day spa waiting room, not a Dr.'s waiting room. Thank you. Sophie Maher - Nee Armstrong
Won’t be going back until I receive a written apology from one of the most narcissistic Dr’s I have ever met and never want to encounter again. She was over 6 hours late for an appointment and couldn’t even be bothered to apologise, then had the audacity to hang up on me while I was trying to describe my symptoms but she thought she knew it all and didn’t listen, even told me not to contact them again for 20 days as she only heard what SHE wanted to hear not the full story. Her bad judgment call landed me in hospital. She will have to live with what she has done and the repercussions. She doesn’t deserve to have ‘Dr’ in front of her name or deserve to be practicing as a Doctor.
Medical practices are usually places you don’t want to spend much time at, but when you do you want to be looked after. This is the case here. You are treated like a human, not a Medicare number! The entire staff receptionist, nurse, doctors is kind, caring, empathetic, knowledgeable, friendly. All you want when you’re not feeling well. I have had interactions with Dr S. Acton, Dr Z. Case and lately Dr M. Bonning and each time the level of care was impeccable. I don’t leave in Balmain anymore but this is my choice of Medical Practice when I’m not well. Thank you all for your professionalism.
