Helped us out with a great price on our trade in and on the car we were purchasing. New car is great, and the service was friendly, we had a few queries on certain things and all emails and calls were answered quickly. Thanks to Rick for all of his help making sure we were happy with everything. 5 stars here :-)

I took my car in for a check up and paid $165 dollars to be told the seat belt light on the dash was not a problem and fine to drive. I then find out a month later that if the lights on the seatbelt won’t retract in an accident and the cars unroadworthy. Disappointed with the service received. When ringing to find out more the man on the phone was aggressive and unhelpful. Wouldn’t recommend.

We very recently bought a new commodore from Ballarat Holden. Our experience with everyone there was absolutely fantastic especially Justin who sold us the car. Nothing was to trouble for him or anyone else . Thank you very much Justin, and we hope to have a long association with the company. Mixed feelings. Last year I purchased a 2005 Holden and chose to take it to the dealership for initial servicing as I thought they would have the equipment and expertise to keep it well maintained. I was given a list of issues to deal with and I worked through them all. Service was good, maybe a bit pricey but I was happy to pay as the communication was good, staff nice and the car went well. My last experience, which initially was just to check a coolant question, ended up in a day of work which was supposed to be only a 'few hours', no letting me know what was happening and and a car that sounded and felt dreadful when I finally got it back. $900 had to be paid before I left. The next day I had oil warnings on rhe way to work and ended up needing to be towed back home by the RACV. When I rang the dealership I was told to drive it back in and not to worry about the alarms. I did that, stopping to ring them and doublecheck that was really ok. They looked at and I was then told it was an 'old car' (it had done 160 ks) and they would have to try one thing which would cost approx $400 and if that didnt work it would need a new secondhand engine. I was also told I now couldnt drive it. This was a few days before Xmas with, now, all prep in chaos as I had lost my one day off already in the first visit. End decision - I org a tow after Christmas to bring it back home. A local mechanic looked at it and has now fixed it but also told me it should not have been driven with those alarms going. The dealership 'old car' comment was a worry as was the feeling I had of being trapped by having driven the car there. Ultimately however I will never go back as I initially drove in with a car driving beautifully at 8.30 and drove out at 4.45 with a car that sounded like death warmed up, and which was a mess within a day. At a cost of $900.00. Sad ending because up to then I would have said they were good.
