Beaut friendly service here! New management now and change of name to "Stranded"! Beaut 'Adore' coffee...yummy pies & cakes...all with...a fab view of Dr Pacific Ocean!
The coffee is amazing- best I’ve had on the beaches! The place is always busy so be prepared for a 15 min wait. You MUST TRY their egg and bacon roll- it is absolutely incredible! Highly recommend checking out this cafe-around-the-corner!!
This place does not accept reusable cups on the grounds of being unhygentic. However they feel comfortable in creating more land full and rubbish. There are better places in Dee Why to get your coffee from. Zero stars.
Does not accept keep cups and owner is quite rude when challenged on this. 2 excuses are "It's inconvenient" and "I've got kids". Response to "But your kids will inherit the planet" was "give me a break". Also their coffee ordering system is just ridiculous. They take 2, maybe 3 orders on paper then say wait just a second and then go and write it somewhere else and do other stuff. I understand that space is limited but surely they can do better than this. Customer service apathetic on a good day. Zero stars. Lots of competition along Dee Why Beach where you can get good coffee and nicer attitude.
Would you like to Pay for your 'Butter' with your toast!?! Disappointed my local cafe where I love the scrambled eggs, wanted to charge me for butter as I was having the toast on the side, rather than under the eggs. 'That will be $0.60c extra' the waitress says with a straight face! Not Happy! and wont be back - they've lost a loyal customer!!!
A great little suntrap, with ocean views, just off the main drag with great coffee and food. Would quite often come here when in the area and would highly recommend the coffee and meatball pesto Panini toasted. Occasionally they have nice cakes, which are a guilty pleasure!
Nice Cafe in Dee Why, one of the best milkshakes I've had in Sydney and above average and reasonably priced bacon and egg roll. Only let down is a Sunday surcharge.
I was walking down the main strip looking for a coffee and feed. Found myself at bacino mostly because of how inviting it looked from outside. I didn't come away disappointed, my tuna faccacia was delicious and the coffee wasn't too bad either. Only minor annoyance was that they weren't accepting eftpos payment. But perhaps the machine was down that particular day.
Been going to Bacino for well over 10 years but things are obviously going downhill. Took in my own "environmentally friendly' cup as I'm trying to do the right thing saving something like ~4-500 non-recyclable cups per year. Never been refused at any other coffee shop anywhere, until now, because "It's policy" and "one cup won't make a difference". Frankly "It's a cop out Bacino". At the same time the message is delivered nonplussed it's your problem and an attempt to rationalise is countered with 'that's your opinion'. Real shame as the food and coffee is generally great, however it seems the success has now gone to their heads as I and others have observed an increasing level of attitude from staff. Guys - listen to your customers, there is always another coffee shop.
The Best & most Consistent Macchiato's in Sydney. I have Macchiato's with no sugar everywhere I go and unlike a flat white or cap which are masked with a lot of milk, if a macchiato is not made well you can really taste it.
