I recently visited Baba Sweets in Thomastown and had a mixed experience. The samosa was one of the best I've had in Melbourne—fresh and not oily at all. The jalebi was perfect, with a balanced sweetness and great taste, though it was served cold. The brown cham cham was okay, but the pink one had a bit of a sour taste. The tea was pretty average and didn't meet my expectations. The mix pakoras were a bit of a letdown as they didn't contain any potato; instead, they were cauliflower coated with besan and spinach, more like gobi pakora.nnThey are not that expensive, which is good, but do check, as the prices on their menu are not updated.nnDespite some of the downsides, I highly recommend Baba Sweets Thomastown for their samosa and jalebi.
Unbelievable n Amazing for me .. Thanks to BABA SWEETS for taking me into Real Punjab one week early before landing in India and getting Real Essence & Taste of Amritsar or I say Real Punjabi Food .. Perfect Food as you can see photos I attached .. Good Quantity of Full Glass LASSI .. With Amritsari Kulchey cholley enough to Fill your Tummy .. I will recommend everyone to come with family and Enjoy Food
I ordered the samosas they are fresh and tasty probably the best ive had in Melbourne. I ordered the pani puri which was just as good. I will be back.
Don't even deserve 1 star. Paid $39.66 for food takeaway and went home and ate Maggie!!! Veg fried rice indo chinese had capsicum with garam masala and elaichi sweet. Veg Manchurian were next level disaster!!! Manchurian were normal bhajiya and too sweet with capsicum again! I would suggest the place, if you don't know how to cook please remove indo Chinese from the menu!!!! Please answer me, can I get refund for this? Because you fooled us with disaster tasteless food!!! Don't just take money from people, please deliver as well for what you charge! Ridiculous. Please let me know about refund!
