Some very authentic and flavourful Thai food with the usual Thai staples. Kids always love the sticky rice, bbq chicken, and spring rolls. Boat noodles are very tasty, along with the Pad See Ew. Will be back to try more. The sisters who run the place are soo friendly as well!Food: 5/5
the food was quite average not bad, the table & floor was a bit dirty but they cleaned it once I came to the table. She waitress kindly asked customers hows the food and she well trained. I ordered the crispy pork belly with stir fry chinese broccoli, the meat was a bit dry compared to another thai restaurant and they put less than what I expected. so far not really bad at all but I suggest them to put more meat and sauce.
Have been going to Baan Taun Thai since 2011, the place evolved over the years, more variety of food and all of them taste really good. Highly recommend it!Food: 5/5

I ordered lunch menu beef Pad Kee Mao yesterday and it was super tasty and the portion was huge. The beef was tender, all the veggies were crunchy and fresh. I will definitely come back for more. Yummy and good value!
Cozy local Thai joint that exceeded our expectations. Compared to the other Thai restaurants along the Concord Rd strip, this is now our favourite. Food is more "home-y" compared to the likes of say Holy Basil and Chat Thai not a fair comparison, but also a big step up from your typical generic Thai restaurant. Satisfied our Thai cravings. The food doesn't have the same punch and isn't as pungent which may suit you - e.g. lack of dried shrimp in the papaya salad, zest in the dressing, soy in the pad see ew. Everything was delicious though. The fried fish was our favourite. In terms of spice level, the ratings on the menu are a bit off. 3 chillis for green curry but in reality, closer to 0-1. We came here as a small group and the service was both friendly and quick. Place was packed on a Friday night with a few other large groups, so booking is recommended. Looking forward to coming back for their lunch specials.
I LOVE THIS PLACE. Food is superb everytime, either order take-away or dine-in. Very generous portion. I order Chicken pad thai every time I get there. Penang curry is creamy and sweet. Pad see ew is another must. I also tried Tom Yum fried rice and chicken fried rice. They were both good. I have to throw some more stars in here just in case 5 stars is not enough good job guys.

Place could do with a good face lift as it doesn't look presentable & cleanliness of decor a big let down, however, the food is one of the best Thai I've ever had in Sydney & nice generous servings. Most Thai serve up chewy beef offcuts bur this was succulent beautiful beef
