Story

All Physiotherapists at Axis in Brisbane CBD are either APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists, or Physiotherapists with a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries. Our particular expertise is in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of all muscle and joint problems, especially back and neck pain. We have advanced qualifications, specialised knowledge and clinical experience, to employ a wide range of therapies to reduce pain, restore proper movement and prevent further problems. Treatment techniques may include mobilisation, manipulative physiotherapy, stabilisation exercises, general exercises, postural/ergonomic advice and massage. All staff lecture and are regularly involved in clinical trials for the University of Queensland in Brisbane city. We also provide Massage Therapy and Psychology services, including adjustment to injury counselling.

We offer services to the workplace ranging from treatment and management of an individual's condition to coordination of rehabilitation services and injury prevention. We offer broad-based knowledge and experience in ergonomics, workplace rehabilitation, injury prevention strategies and all workplace health and safety requirements.
