We had no issues with pickup or drop-off — everything was quick and professional. The car was perfect for our long drive to Geraldton. Great service overall, highly recommend this agency!
Waited here for over an hour and a half and don't understand why the operators here take so long to hand people their cars, on a 42 degree day!nThere should be an express queue for those customers who have completed their forms so they can pick up their keys and go instead of waiting in line.nAlso got asked to wait another 20 minutes because the car we pre-booked just a standard small SUV was not ready even though we arrived well before the time we noted on our booking because it needed it be cleaned??? Shouldn't you have the cars waiting and ready for the day before customers arrive as you know who has booked?nI've hired cars from many other car companies in Australia and over the world and I would never recommend Avis to anyone.
Waited about an hour in the queue to get my pre-booked rental.. hands down one of my longest ever car rental experiences. And the queue got even longer behind me! To be fair the 3 out of 4 counters were operational and the staff were pretty friendly but helpless. Real need to relook at how to speed things up operationally. The system they were using was terrible.. hope it does get better.
I forgot to bring a physical credit card to collect the vehicle. Amy was incredibly friendly and patient in helping us change the booking to my partners name so we could use her card. Thank you Amy!
Team members were great at customer service. However landing late from Sydney and waiting outside a small yard office in the cold for over 30 minutes was a little novel… all the terminal counters direct you to the yard office for service.
