Avalon Airport is Victoria’s easy way to fly, and the gateway to the Great Ocean Road and the Bellarine. There’s no hassle getting here on a toll free, traffic free highway from either Melbourne or Geelong. All our long and short term car parking is two minutes away At Terminal; you’ll always find a spot and it's close enough that there's no need for a bus from your car to the terminal. You can catch the SkyBus from Melbourne or Werribee and the Avalon shuttle brings you from Geelong, the Bellarine and the Surf Coast. And with free wifi, plenty of charging points for your devices, and the opportunity for a coffee, wine or lunch right at your gate, our airport is like a home away from home.

Small, nice and quiet airport. Car park is very close to the terminal, easy to navigate inside. Also there are a couple of long tables with a dozen of free power sockets for laptops, phones, etc., and a nice room with game machines (including a Star Wars game). Free Wi-Fi.

Check-in truly ridiculous with very rigid baggage size and weight checks, and only one desk doing this. Had to pay for bags which were allowed as carry at Sydney. Only 3 ladies doing check-in, boarding etc.. Staff not helpful..will never travel to/from this airport in future..

It took an hour of travelling to this other Melbourne airport. The little bit of money you saved on airfare isn’t worth it at all. Consider it cost $150 by airport shuttle or $22 buy skybus from Melbourne to Avalon airport. Facility is very substandard compared to other modern airport. You have to carry your bags and walk up to the plane from the asphalt tarmac. Like going back to the 50s. Check in counter staff are rude and doing their best to charge passengers with overweighted carry on luggage. One couple has to throw away a box of chocolates from friends to avoid the $60 overweighted fees. I will never use this airport ever again.

It is an airport in the middle of nowhere. If it is your first time there, you will be confused and shocked by the size of it and the small signs to carpark. Looks like a sunday market. Inside, it is clean and everything looks to be running smoothly. There is a cafe and there are only a few seats availabe. It needs to be upgraded.

Less people no stress. Great value for money, easy access to city. Why not choose here?
