Recently ordered natural soaps for the first time when i decided to make the switch from the commercial stuff after learning how bad it all is for your skin and hair. I got a guest shampoo stick, 2 x Candy Can Christmas blocks as well as a shaving block and a charcoal face block for my wife. Have to say so far after a few uses I'm very happy. You can literally feel the natural oils on your skin while you're washing in the shower and tbh I actually feel like I'm clean when I step out. My hair feels lovely now after a few goes with the shampoo but I'm yet to try the shaving block. I'm sure it will be amazing! Will definitely be my new norm for my grooming routine! Great products and keen to try more
I like the liquid soap packaging, and the beautiful fragrances, but the ingredients totally separate. Who wants to have to vigorously shake up a bottle of liquid soap to mix the ingredients every time they wash their hands? Some of the liquid soaps also have an unpleasant texture. At this expensive price point, I don't expect to constantly have to mix the soap myself. There are so many natural or organic products on the market, at lower prices, that don't have the quality challenges of this brand. I won't be buying again.
Gingerbread House a definite NO! An awful scent, smells like olive oil. Unfortunately I purchased a few of the Christmas packs and they contain the Gingerbread House soap in them. I can't give them to anyone knowing how they smell. Over Christmas, anyone that dropped in I got their opinion about the scent of the soap. Everyone said the smell wasn't nice at all. It also went all soggy and slimey eek! Yes as a small business and being in Melbourne I really did want to support you but it's come at a loss to me as I have soaps just sitting in the box they arrived in.

Tried the normal shampoo/ conditioner they work well but it's my first time using solid hair products. They do take more time to use than normal products so I feel like the length of my showers has increased. But I tried them because of the no plastic packaging and shipping options and in those fronts it's great. Also got some nice solid soaps but I'm used to those for awhile now, they smell great though especially the peppermint and pumice.
The Australian Natural Soap Company make the purest soaps. After not using soap for many years due to regular soap drying my skin a friend bought me some soap from here & my experience of soap has been transformed! This soap is gentle and nourishing on my skin. I've also converted to using the shampoo bars & soap flakes for laundry washing. I really feel the difference of chemical free products on my skin, hair & clothes. And the amount of plastic I now no longer use from shampoo & conditioner & laundry detergent bottles is very measurable. I'm so glad to have discovered this company that make pure products, are completely ethical & contribute to a cleaner more sustainable environment.
Great company to deal with, everything from purchase to delivery went smoothly. Products are really good, however I wasn't sold on the shampoo and/or conditioner bars. I tried using them a few times but I still wasn't keen. However, all other products and I have purchased many, are wonderful, great for sensitive people and the environment.
Super excited to order these soaps from Australian Natural Soap Company. Moving from using plastic bottles back to soap bars as a more sustainable option. The soaps smell excellent. Can’t wait to try the dog shampoo on my dog. Thinking of buying them as beautiful gifts. Delivery was super fast and efficient and even got a hand written note in the package. Highly recommended!
For someone going towards zero, small businesses that are environmentally conscious and responsible are an instant eye catcher. No nasties & all natural, why would anyone think twice? I purchased as gifts for Christmas and by the looks and smell of them I know they're nothing less than the best. I'll definitely shop again.
I bought the bar shampoo for oily hair, the conditioner for normal hair/dry hair it was the only one available, the face oil for combination skin, and the pink clay face soap. I’ve tried all of them multiple times, and my hair feels ok I guess, but both the shampoo and conditioner are extremely drying, and I can’t use the conditioner as well as the shampoo in the same wash. Because it strips my hair of oils I have to use a different conditioner and still have to wash my hair every few days because it gets oily quickly, which means the bar is disappearing quite fast. I originally got it to be more environmentally friendly but at the price I bought it for its looking like it may just be better to get normal shampoo bottles because they last me a lot longer. The facial oil is actually very nice and I personally would buy it again. As for the pink clay face soap, I don’t actually see a difference in my skin, it just smells nice. I like what this place is doing and it seems to work for a lot of people, it just hasn’t personally worked for me.
