We went there to learn a little more about surfing. They did a good job, but some of the facts are due to adjust.nWe spent over 2 hours, which says it all: worth a visit!nWe enjoyed it!
Fantastic array of surfing facts and memorabilia on. Brilliant displays and strong surfing atmosphere. I challenge you not to get a buzz and I am 77 years old.
What a great place with videos, displayed Champion surfboards and lots of information on the history of surfing. We loved it! Worth the $12 entrance fee.
Enter via the information centre. We really enjoyed this museum and spent a good hour looking around. Lots to read but the kids enjoyed themselves without reading anything so I guess you can read as much or as little as you like.nWheelchair friendly.
Marie - The Museum guide - was absolutely wonderful!nPlease do yourself a favour and if you're in the area pay the $25.00 family pass and take the kids through the amazing local history and beyond of the surfing revolution as it hit the shores of the Victorian Surf Coast. We thoroughly enjoyed it but beware of the souvenir shop all my loose change disappeared very quick, haha!
