Always a bad experience unfortunately . The person looking after my registration is not only slow but not effective with communication. Not only have I missed out on job opportunities but been waiting for over 6weeks on my registration. No communication until after multiple calls of frustration and hours of waiting on the phone before they eventually email to say I completed the wrong document. Like how long does it take you to realise it was the wrong document. Why does it take weeks to let me know it was the wrong document? Just wow. Zero star
Wow just wow. I feel so sorry for our kids if they grow up thinking it is ok for “medical professionals” to refuse to see and treat sick kids/people. Sore throats and runny noses have been around a lot longer than covid. What’s next, a firefighter refusing to save someone from a burning building until it stops? Wake the hell up and start actually treating people rather than being weak minded. Get out of medicine if you don’t actually want to help the sick. I don’t know how these people sleep at night knowing they are a disgrace to humanity. What ever happened to “do no harm”.
Person representing APHRA returning my phone call on an enquiry was unhelpful verging on rude. Have made a previous call regarding requirements of evidence to attach to CPD points accured and been given an example of what to do. This person refused to assist with a similar enquiry.
You need a webpage form for queries that takes more than a 1000 characters or words sorry I cannot remember the limit off the top of my head. I think 2000 would be a better idea. It's frustrating to have to miss information and re-do a 2nd form, and I agree with what someone else said in the review that staff are just pasting and copying information, and not actually responding the questions appropriately. What also concerns me, is if this is your level of service, because you are understaffed, how on earth can you properly check everyone's qualifications properly that come in from overseas, particularly from 3rd world countries. I even went to a job interview once and they said just to bring a photocopy of my degree, I was so horrified that they were so slack I actually brought the original. Copies can be doctored, and I have been told by someone from PNG it's not what you know it's who you know that gets you the job in PNG. Scary. On top of this, AHPRA needs provide which universities provide re-entry into nursing programs this information isn't necessarily easy to find and these re entry programs need to line up placements. I saw on a Facebook forum that someone was denied by AHPRA re -registration as they had not done a practical component despite doing an expensive refresher course. If you are sincere in wanting nurses to re-enter then provide us with which universities provide these above courses. If the government too, wants experienced nurses to re-enter into nursing, the courses should not be as expensive either. Also tell us how we are suppose to get the appropriate referees to get back into the work too. I was told by one Manager I needed a referee that knows if I will be reliable in relation to doing nightshifts. Likewise, there should be a list that AHPRA provides of hospitals and areas where employers are prepared to supervise nurses that intend to return to work. A lot of people will just give up because there are way too many hurdles to even get basic information at the moment. Incredibly frustrating. Furthermore, why is it that if someone puts in a complaint about someone, a counter claim against the other party cannot be made. In certain situations, the first person may put in a vexatious complaint but the complainant is actually the incompetent one in the situation. Stop protecting bullies, and start looking at the merit of each complaint rather than saying that someone cannot put in a counter complaint. You are meant to protect the public from incompetence.
I wish i could give negative stars... like who in their right minds pushes all doctors to give false information about covid 19 MRNA based tech.. everyone needs to learn about human endogenous reverse transcriptase and why the mrna vaccines are incredible bad.
Watching 60 mins - wow, something going on behind closed walls stinks. Choosing to investigate a reputable doctor before hacks, despite over 500 complaints. What’s the point of this agency even existing?
Shame on AHPRA for de-registering the incredible Dr William Bay, and gagging health practitioners nation wide by issuing AHPRA’s “Covid 19” position statement. At no time was Dr William Bay a threat to the public, instead He told the truth and maintained the importance of the doctor/patient relationship.
I actually went for a job interview for this Department and was told I didn’t get it because my answers were too short??? Sounds even more ridiculous when I say it out loud. 5+ years extensive experience working in a Government Department and to be told that was an insult. Your loss.
Tyrannical arm of our parliament we have a parliament but don’t have a govt anymore and the WEF! Doctors deregistered for speaking the truth about what they have witnessed in the past 2 years. Disgusting agency.
Desusting the way they treated doctors over covid and likely so they are asking questions. The are corrupt government organisation there should be a royal commission into these grubs.
