Exhibitions are usually great but I swear this place used to be much bigger. It seems so small inside now. The arcitecture of the building is amazing from the outside and there is a restaurant bar just next to it in the courtyard, as well as a coffee cart at the entrance to the centre. Staff are a bit snobby but that's normal for art centres I think unfortunately. Large variety of art books for sale. Bathroom facilities are nice and new.

Curated contemporary art from Australia and international sources. Always worth a look, located within a slowly expanding arts precinct, ACCA is free entry and provides challenging and stimulating feasting for the senses.

Disaster. Had to walk around it twice to find the entrance. Inside entrance there’s a sign saying they’re closed for the day. Had checked opening hours on google before I visited, which gallery hadn’t updated. Carston (Utopia fans will know what I mean) thinkers will see it as a great success...experience for me was ridiculous. Still, found the Buxton gallery as a result...that was inspiring!
