Our mission statement Learn Live Love Music, sums us up in one! "Learn" our amazing music teachers will teach and inspire you!
"Live" Music is our life- one visit to our community inspired shop run by musicians for musicians and you will see music through our eyes.
"Love" They say if you do something you love you will never work a day in your life, well we do work very hard but we love what we do. We especially love passing on our love of music through teaching.

I had guitar lessons with Nick and he was great, so flexible, knowledgeable and easy to get a long with. There wasn't a song I gave him that he couldn't pick up. He made me feel comfortable and confident with my instrument. The whole team at the Academy is friendly, passionate, easy going and helpful. They are very supportive to all the students, doing regular jam nights and even a yearly concert. I would highly recommended them to learners of all ages

Had to pick one star as cannot submit with zero stars.

Asked for a quote for a minor repair to a guitar.
Quote was $40, should be done in a day or so.
Phoned 2 days later to enquire if it was done, it wasn't. Confirmed the cost would be as per the quote.
Two days after that, got a text to say work was done. 
Arrived to pick up guitar to find cost almost double the quote.

Will not use again for two reasons - 
1. Turn around time not as promised.
2. No justification for the additional cost.

I have three kids, all doing multiple instruments and have been attending lessons for a few years now.  We can honestly say we love it at The Australian Academy of Music. Teachers and staff are all fantastic. They give the kids opportunity to perform live. Quality music store close to home.

My 7 year old was struggling with violin at school. I started sending him here. The teacher was able to determine what the problem was in the first 5 minutes of the 1st lesson and was able to help him straightaway. After only 4 lesson, my son went from a 'D' in violin to a 'B'.

My son's teacher is very patient with him and is always getting him to learn harder songs to challenge him.  I'm always made to feel welcome and my son is made to feel like a cool rocker.
