Recently my wife and I did the Bush, Sand and Recovery weekend.  It was an absolute pleasure from start to finish.  Jan was very helpful and efficient getting us booked on the course.  Kev and Trev were a wealth of knowledge and were very calm and patient as they delivered the course.  We're now looking forward with confidence to upcoming off road adventures.  And as an added bonus, for a small extra cost and some homework on the Saturday night, we were certified for a nationally recognised course and now save 20% off our insurance!  We couldn't be happier.
Hi all Just thought we would share some real-world experience that we would never have enjoyed if we had not done the 4WD and mechanics course. Just returned from 10 weeks exploring SA. Lots of off-road. VERY CHALLENGING drive on Skytrek at Willow Springs. VERY STEEP ascents up rocky tracks trained us to use LL and take it very easy VERY STEEP descents trained us well in hill descent mode! No fuel warning as incline jammed the float stuck in the tank! Phark. Fixed given our mechanic course training. Sidewall damage on one tyre with a slow leak. Thankfully TPM system allowed us to exit gracefully as close to camp. Knowing what tyre pressures to use on different road surfaces. Your course took us confidently to explore some AMAZING PLACES. Sincere thanks Mark and Theresa
Had a great weekend doing the bush sand recovery course with Trev, who was an absolute legend. He was friendly, supportive and very knowledgeable, and made sure everybody got heaps of practice to be confident and safe 4wders. Jan was also very helpful and flexible during the booking process. If you are worried about spending the course fee, don't! This companies' courses are worth every cent. I have just finished the two day bush, sand and recovery course. I went in not knowing anything and I came out knowing a heap, including how to safely operate my vehicle. They give you heaps of one on one time with your own car. I cannot recommend this company enough. Kev and Trevor were just brilliant, and Jan was an absolute pleasure to deal with and very helpful.
Kev, Trev and Jan in the office are all great. You will NOT regret investing in their driving courses. And you can get a certificate that’ll give you a discount on 4x4 insurance. We were complete newbies but they had us doing all sorts of great stuff so that we could learn the capability of our vehicle and camper trailer backed up with solid theory/discussion too. We learned what we could do too and what not to do as well!. They are generous and kind in their instruction. It was a really positive experience and has prepared us well for our big trip. Thanks!!
If you're new to 4x4 and you feel terrified at the thought of getting stuck on the beach or in the bush, or you're worried that you won't be able to drive your 4x4 on rough terrain. Well, look no further than Australian 4wd Advanced Driver Education. Trev is an incredible teacher. Patient and extremely knowledgeable. He'll take you through the steps and soon enough you'll be climbing crazy hills and driving through beach sand without any fear. He is so thorough with the recovery. There's absolutely nothing to worry about. My husband and I feel so much more confidant in our 4x4 now and we aren't worried at all if we get stuck. We'll get out. Trev knows everything about every model of 4x4 there is on the market and way back models too. Also, you don't just learn how to drive and recover, but you learn so much about your car and the maintenance of it. I can't recommend this company enough. What an experience! Thank you for making this a fabulous weekend for us, Trev and everyone behind the scenes. We wish you all the best!
