Yarrunga LPO provides the best service in the town. Since the new owner has taken over the business, I always go there and the attitude and behavior of the owner is remarkable. Owner is very polite, friendly, good hygiene and well mannered. I also buy wide range of magazines and I always like their great products. 100% Recommended
The new owner is One of the rudest people I have ever come across. He Does not represent Australia post very well at all. No customer service skills he is rude and arrogant and his hygiene and cleanliness of the shop is appalling. And from what I hear does not pay his bills and owes a lot of people around town money which is why there is barely any stock on the shelves. I personally will be directing all my packages and mail to another post office because I would rather drive completely out of my way than to walk in that shop ever again.
I have no words to describe the disappointment I have in the owner regarding his manners, respect and service. He has bailed my friend up twice in regards to leaving a very valid review and now she feels no longer comfortable going into the store due to the harassment of him wanting her to delete the review. Not professional at all and very rude behaviour. Also, his personal hygiene could be improved by a mile.
Good post office. There’s never really a line and we get served quickly. New owner is always nice and helpful when I go in.
Owner Bailed me up instore to say I've left a bad review and it's affecting his business blah blah. I hadn't left a bad review but here it is. Very rude and not needed.
I had to wait forever for a parcel to arrive! Apparently my package was just there the whole time, but they didn't scan it, so I was never notified. Not even an apology...
The previous 5 star review is not an accurate representation of the store. I believe that it is a fake review. The shop has gone down hill dramatically and is not the lovely locally owned business it once was.
I've only been in this newsagents once and I'm never going in there again. Very very rude people. After a long night shift I googled which post office was open first and it said the one on yurrunga at 7am. So I went there and made up my package to send and took it to the counter. The old bloke at the counter rudely asked me what I wanted done with the package. I said to send it? He then rudely stated that the post office wasn't open till 830. The time was 820. I said oh well I didn't know and google said this place was open. He then snatched the package and made a big deal about having to send it before the post office opened in the like 10mins. Seriously mate get a grip and sharpen your customer service skills.
Amazing service! I called the post office as my package was inadvertently shipped here and they handled the situation with ease. Really appreciate the help! :
