Welcome to the Rural City of Wangaratta’s Official Facebook Page!

Here, you can share ideas, give us your feedback, and find out about upcoming events and projects. Join the conversation and share with us about what matters most to you and your community.

Council’s Facebook page will provide timely information on:
• Current news, projects and resident information;
• Alerts to upcoming events and activities;
• Community engagement opportunities and sharing of ideas;
• Emergency information for weather warnings, during storms, fires, road closures and other emergency issues; and
• further information available on Councils website, to make payments, lodge Customer Action Requests, download and submit forms.

Council on Facebook
Facebook users can ‘Like’ one or all Council Facebook pages for specialised updates. Occasional updates relevant to more than one page will be shared across different pages.

Council welcomes comments, feedback and ‘sharing’ of information from our page followers, and will endeavour to join the conversation where possible.

While Council will aim to respond to any questions within 24 hours (excluding weekends); it may not always be able to meet this target. Some individual messages may not warrant a response and will not be replied to. Council staff will read all post responses and direct messages and ensure that any relevant feedback or information is passed on to the relevant Council teams.
