Been waiting for a parcel they notified me was being delivered today. After sitting here all morning with the front door wide open I receive an email saying there was no safe place to drop it even though I was home and even when I haven't been home the parcel has always been left on my front porch. Tried to call the post office to put in complaint about the lazy delivery person who didn't even come to the front door and put on hold for well over 10 minutes. Just shows how little care Australia Post and especially in Hervey Bay have respect for their customers
Go-to Post office in the bay.nAfter a year & a half, I can confidently say, this is your one stop shop post office for locals and tourists. I have been served many times by all the staff Emily, Rebecca, Vanessa, Shania, Gavin & Maddy and honestly, I can't recommend them enough. The staff are professional, friendly and respectful to all their customers.nnThe shop is always beautifully kept and stocked with amazing items, gifts, stationery and lots more. Torquay Post Office sets a higher standard.nnKeep up the good work, TPO!
Worthy of zero rating.nIncredibly rude grey headed woman refused to have staff serve me because she was incorrect in her knowledge of the Passport process and threatened to call the police if I didn't leave because I called the Aust Passport Office to verify. I was correct, I did go to another Post Office and put in a formal complaint. They need to find new staff as Aust Post is a Govnt department and is there to serve the community with the same respect they expect in return.
I have been visiting this post office for 3.5 years and without a doubt it is the best post office in Hervey Bay, Brilliant professional staff who are extremely helpful and happy. The shop is well set out and perfect for picking up a gift for Birthdays etc . It even has a huge Birthday Card section not to mention all the other awesome gifts. I only go to this post office now, definitely hands down best Australia Post in Hervey Bay!
I had the best experience in this post office , Such friendly & helpful staff Cheryl went out of her way to pack my parcel properly ‘ print out an address for me. Thankyou so much for you excellent service. Such an interesting post office with lots of extra giftware to browse at too . 5 stars Definitely will recommend to locals or travellers
