Bit ridiculous being closed at 5pm just before Christmas! To bad for people that work trying get their presents sorted in the post.
To the elderly female staff with curly hair and glasses. The rudest service and encounter I’ve ever come across. I was waiting in line and made direct eye contact with her so I began to walk to the counter when she put her finger up and yelled “Just hold on, Jesus Christ” in front of a busy queue. Embarrassed, I kept quite when another lady called me over to serve me when she continues and says “f*ing hell” under her breath. Would not recommend this post office, this was the second time experiencing her disgusting service. Something needs to be done.
After reading some of the bad reviews about this store, i must say i was pleasantly surprised with the wonderful young lady that served me she was very pleasant helpful and extremely efficient ,thanks Jennifer your were wonderful.
Very Rude Staff. My parcel was taken out and repack in an aggressive and unsatisfactory fashion. I remained silent because I did not want to make them more aggressive than already projected. I decided to join others in here and give a one star review and warn others of the Australia Post Hervey Bay Staff Rudeness and Aggressive Behavior. Seems others are also having bad experiences whilst the more well to do are less prone to rude behavior. Try not to feed it when visiting, but do leave a review of your negative experience.
The team here are friendly and always willing to give a helping hand. They provide the usual services that most Australia Post locations offer, including passport photos, 24/7 parcel pickup lockers account setup required, which is free and money services. Extra large parcels are able to be picked up at the post office depot, which is a 5 minute drive away.
Never shopped or done business here, got told to move on for having a conversation in front of the shop in the mall. Keep up the great service Australia Post. Rude
Could open earlier at 8.30. Most of the staff are courteous and efficient but the one I saw wanted me to fill out a heap of paperwork for returning a parcel to the US, thankfully another staff member told me that she would do it via her computer as it should be done.

One very unprofessional, rude and bad attitude staff. I went there to renew my passport two weeks ago. The lady first told me that my passport photo is not the right size and they do passport photo there. I told her that it was printed from OfficeWorks and it’s the right size as I have checked with the staff at OW before print it out, so I insisted using the photo I had. She then told me the photo's paper quality did not met the requirement. I told her again I have checked with OW and I don’t want to spend another money to take photo there. She then questioned about the dark shadow in the background. I finally told her that I just want to use the photo. However, she told me she will process my application but she will write a note on my application that my photo is not qualified to apply for the passport. Guess what? I have just received my new passport last Thursday. THE PHOTO WAS JUST FINE, NO PROBLEM AT ALL. The lady was speaking to me in a very rude tone after I refused to take another photo there. Unfortunately, I still HAVE TO go there to pick up my registered mail in the future. DON'T GO THERE IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO, GO ANOTHER TWO IN THE BAY.
