Such poor service and slow. For a busy area, they need more staff behind counter especially at peak times like Christmas. I had one package set for leave at door, got the Auspost text confirming so. Then driver didn't leave at door so I had to go into branch the next day after 12pm so the slip stated to collect. Drove in next day was fortunate I could work from home line was out the door, got to counter shortly after midday. Lady went to look for box, came back and double check reference number saying she couldn't find the box. She then confirmed PC was telling her the box was definitely in the back. She went back to look, may have been gone 5 mins, came back and said sorry there's too many boxes, I haven't seen it yet and we're too busy. Can you come back in an hour or so? I said what? but the computer is telling you the box is out the back, and just because you haven't easily seen it yet, you want me to drove all the way home and come back again??? I had to leave before I crossed the line and put everything back in my pocket, saying this is very disappointing. No Christmas spirit here...
Most inefficient post office ever. I only use it because I have no choice for parcel pickup. No counter for parcel pickup, only one queue for everything. Queue goes out the entrance door while all 3 operators process passport applications. Customer service is getting their requests processed ASAP not keeping them in the store as long as possible. Suggest you have a look at Beaconsfield post office just 3km down the road. This one is run with customer service in mind.
Went after lunch peak on a Friday, wasn't crowded and was immediately able to get my passport photos and application done. The lady at the counter, Dianne, was very helpful and efficient.
I’ve been picking up my parcels from the Berwick post office for 21 years. In 21 years, I’ve never ever had an issue with any of the staff there. They have always been beautiful professional helpful and go above and beyond their jobs to help. In fact, I know quite a few by name now that’s how nice they are. You’re friendly local post office.nnPeople, if your deliveries don’t turn up to your house, it’s not the people at the Berwick post office fault, It’s the delivery drivers I feel being lazy! Because I have been home too and I’ve got cameras and they’ve not turned up to my house, but they say that they tried to deliver My parcel.nYou need to contact the Pakenham delivery DC Centre and put in a complaint with them, because they’re the ones that handled the drivers not these beautiful post office workers!
