Despite being very nervous to fly today, our pilots John and Kinsh were really awesome. They took us to Whitianga safely. It was a very enjoyable and unforgettable experience. Definitely recommend!

One of the best clubs on the airfield. Friendly helpful instructors, tidy aircraft at reasonable rates & good facilities. The deck is a great place to sit and watch the aircraft movements and being slightly elevated offers decent views... and the cafe is right next door for the caffeine fix! ; If you're considering learning to fly, or just want a friendly place to hang out with others interested in aviation, check it out!
Nice little cafe to have Sunday brunch at and watch the airplanes fly by, from classic WWI planes to modern helicopters. The French toast I can highly recommend

Love having a coffee at the Cafe watching all the aircraft come and go.
This was our first flight with AAC, our Instructor was friendly, and explained everything in detail. Just also kept checking everybody was OK and had no issues during our flight. The facilities were basic, but had everything that was needed including a cafe. but your not there to sit around all day. Only downside was lack of communication between the Reception and Instructor. Would go back again anytime!
