Story

Vision
At Aubin Grove, the staff, families, wider community and students work together to achieve an outstanding learning environment that ensures success for all students and the achievement of its vision:

A true learning community where everyone learns and feels happy and safe.

We are committed to developing and sustaining a culture of continuous self-improvement and life long learning in an environment of collaboration and innovation.

We are committed to the implementation of 'thinking' classrooms throughout the school that reflect the use of high order instructional skills and strategies by teachers, a strong focus on environmental education and practices, an emphasis on implementation of state of the art ICT in student learning and the creation of a safe, engaging learning community.

School Community
From the outset, the Aubin Grove staff and local community have worked in close partnership to build a school that reflects the best of contemporary educational practices.

The local community is relatively young and aspirational. Parents, families and community members display a keen willingness to support the school in many ways to reach its outstanding potential. They demonstrate a great willingness to work with the school in true partnerships with the common aim of achieving success for their children.

Many parents work with the school offering support and undertaking responsibilities to ensure the smooth opening of the school. The P&C is a vibrant and enthusiastic organisation that has worked tirelessly from the school's inception to provide outstanding services and resources for the school and students.

Community involvement and support at Aubin Grove is characterised by:
* A shared responsibility for the educational outcomes of the students between parents, staff and the wider educational community
* Positive relationships between staff and community and open channels of communication
* Parent involvement in whole school decision-making
* An active P & C that is inclusive of, and accessible to, all parents

The team of educators who have been appointed to Aubin Grove Primary School are vibrant, innovative, hard working and committed. They set high expectations of themselves and settle for no less.

They are led by an administrative team who also model and embody all of these values and attitudes, provide outstanding leadership and demand the same high expectations of themselves.
