I'm a DIY person and was wanting to re-level and re-finish a concrete floor. I found good reviews on a Cemix product online, and their web site listed Atlas as a local agent. Great I thought, a concrete company would know all about my problem and could recommend a product. When I walked in I was greeted with the words "cash or account" and it went down hill from there. I said neither, explained the problem I was trying to solve, and asked about the Cemix products. No helpful information was offered and I was simply directed to some shelving that had a variety of Cemix products. I couldn't find the product I wanted, and there were so many other Cemix products I was lost. So I again asked for help. They didn't seem to know anything about the Cemix products they were selling, and weren't interested in trying to find out. I gave up, and ended up building a new wooden surface over the top of the concrete. It looked really good! I don't think I would ever deal with Atlas again. They aren't interested in their customers, helping, and are not knowledgeable about the products they sell.

We bought 24 cubic metres of crushed concrete from Atlas which cost us over $1000. One of the delivery trucks fit our brick wall and smashed it. They said they would send someone round to sort out getting it fixed. So we carried on getting the stuff delivered. It was nearly a month later when someone came. It was about a metre off the road and so they said that it was off the carriageway and in their fine print (really fine print) it says they take no responsibility after leaving the carriageway. How many people get stuff delivered to the side of the road. Warning - Read the fine print with these people as otherwise it may cost you a lot. A truck can do a lot of damage like it did with us.
