Recently refinanced our home loan with Josh, Shiela and the team at Astute. Service was exceptional and we're very happy with the rate we got. Absolutely no hassles whatsoever and I would happily recommend them to anyone looking for financial services.
The Astute team were an absolute pleasure to work with. Our previous mortgage broker was lazy and made errors. The Astute team was the opposite - they were diligent, worked hard to get us the best deal and kept us in the loop the entire time. Will be using them in future for all our mortgage needs!
Amazing service. I loved working with this team and am very happy with the outcome. A few months ago I became very nervous as I had a low fixed rate locked in until early 2023. The team at astute helped me find the best new fixed rate, oversaw the breaking of my old one and transfer to a new bank, and it couldn't have been easier or smoother. To think I used to waste my time calling banks all day myself getting stressed out, instead of dealing with one broker, wow, I'll never go back to that. Thank you so much!
Josh Egan, Andrew Forrest and the rest of the team at Astute were wonderful to work with. Very prompt and reliable and Josh went out of his way to find the most suitable option for me and materialized it. Andrew is excellent in keeping you posted with the progress of the application and constantly communicates with you and never leaves you guessing given the jitteriness one usually has with a first home buy. I've had a long engagement with them until I found my home to buy and they have always helped me in providing a report for any house of interest prior to making an offer to ensure I don't offer more than what it's worth. Would definitely recommend Josh and his team.
To be fair they eventually would get a result as anyone would. But I'd say they're the slowest brokers in Australia..... After almost 3 months of trying to refinance my mortgage I gave up on Astute and went with a different broker who did more work in 2 days than Astute did in 9 weeks

She genuinely cared and helped us to feel confident about our first experience buying a house.
