Had a great experience with the whole team, they were super efficient and helped me through the stressful process of insurance claims from a car accident. Lovely guy named Daniel I hope that’s his name was also super helpful and did an amazing job, car looks brand new from where it was hit. Very thankful.
I had an accident in my new car last month and my Insurance Company sent it to ASR. I have to say the quality of service with regular updates was exceptional. Little wonder they're regarded as the specialists in their field. Highly recommended
Our Mercedes Benz has been to ASR three times in 12 months really : not that bad-er of a driver ha! ha! ha!, someone hit us this time. Great service, by office staff and repairs by workshop staff
TL;DR: Prolonged wait times and inconsiderate customer service. Based on other low-star reviews, I fully expect some kind of condescending and blame-passing reply - mentioning the customer's "accident trauma" [wow] seems to be a common theme. [1] Minor bumper and rear wing repair on Rav4 - first requested Jan 2022 and completed OCT 26-28 2022... nine months! Not exactly a major issue, or uncommon vehicle when sourcing parts. Was informed they were 'busy' in Jan, then zero contact until I personally followed-up in June/July [no explanation offered]. Next appt was end of October. [2] Courtesy taxi offered for drop-off/pick-up, but only found out about the service *after* drop-off, having already inconvenienced family for a ride. That's more frustrating than not having a courtesy taxi at all. [3] For a Wed AM drop-off, was told by admin Tue PM to plan for a Monday [5 days] pick-up, because "it might be Friday [2 days] but we are only half-staffed" and that "if you plan for that it saves you calling us back". Turned out to be a Friday pick-up, however at that point I had 3 more days of unnecessary car-hire... makes sense to me that I save a few hundred dollars on car hire, than save 5 mins of time on the phone. Avoiding the call-back is probably more about inconveniencing admin staff than the customer. Text message updates of progress from CGU were a nice touch. If there is a 'next time', I will be asking my insurance company for options to shop around and not use the preferred supplier. I will not recommend to family or friends.Service: Body & Trim
Absolutely appalling service. Ute was in there for 6 months for minor repairs and i was lied to the whole time. They really think there customers are stupid. Have herd alot of negative reports from this bussiness lately. Wouldnt even let them touch my push bike.
Smash repair claiming through our car insurance was promised a new bumper bar in a hand written quote however when picking up the car noticed bumper bar wasn't replaced with a new part. We were told by ASR Collisions North Cairns that the claim lodged to the Insurance Company was for repairs.I asked to see a copy of the hand written quote was told that wasn't possible .
7 months try to repair my car - every time I called for an update was lied to from the staff - I tried to get the directors to call but nothing - I can deal with the truth but ASR don't know how to tell the truth . The insurance company is desperate using this company - after 7 months the insurance wrote the car off because ASR company couldn't deliver - never again
Had an insurance bullbar fitted which took 7 days. Bonnet was painted and it came up really well. Had to fix some minor things myself at home bonnet latch and lightbar. A bit disappointed with the time it took to do the repairs and the minor fix ups but all in all not a bad experienceService: Body & Trim
Amazing repair work done on my car after my accident. My car looks better than it did before! Super happy and would highly recommend.
