Dry, horrible chips.   I think that they had been there for a long time.   Drying out under the hot lights  I had sausage and chips.  Only the sausage was edible.  My son had cod and chips.   The batter on the cod was dry and the fish inside wasn't nice at all.   The chips were the same as mine.  We also ordered a kabap with salad.   I don't know how old the cucumber was.   It was limp and slimy.   The meat was cold.  It's not the worst chip shop I've ever been in. That is in Newark.   It's bad enough though.  I'm sorry to give a bad review, but this place wasn't very good.

Disgusting! After almost 2 hours waiting and 2 phone calls we got the order which was cold, everything was smashed and was flowing in the oil. Of course they don't pick up the phone now. Don't order food from this place!!!

only ever collected my food as i want it quickly, pizzas are excellent, and the meal deals are a bargain, no complaints from me

Absolutely disgusted with this place. I 0% recommend this restaurant. Have recently made an order through uber eats and they decided to cancel the order and haven’t still returned the money. Their call lines are always busy and will never pick up the phone.

Went to this one as my usual is closed on Sundays. Quite possibly the worst fish and chips I've ever had. My fritter came on a seeded bun which had several blue spots on it. My fish and chips were soggy. The gravy was very watery, too. Will not be returning.

Had fish and chips, with tomato ketchup. They arrived drenched in an odd pinky-red sauce with a fairy liquid like consistency. Made everything soggy. Very off-putting. The chips were cold and bland. The actual fish was okay, and the bits of batter that weren't soggy were okay too, hence 2 stars. Won't be ordering again, and im not difficult to please. A sad fish and chips :

 DO NOT OERDER FROM ASPLEY FISH BAR  thay are tramps and do not look after your food

Well we ordered at 19:00 and it came at 21:00 the driver looks drunk

Nice guys on my last visit, I brought a sausage for my pooch, and I got 2 for the price of 1  chips are proper chippy chips too... Which I don't see often for a pizza place. Keep up the good work.

I can't complain, one of the best kebabs  since last couple years.
