My first time visiting this clinic today. Friendly and helpful staff, and also a great doctor who was attentive, patient, and listened compassionately. They didn't ask me to write this review. I really had a wonderful experience. The doctor did not try to fix me but was genuinely willing to listen and try to understand where I was coming from, which was really nice. Also the waiting room had an entire wall with the picture of a forest, which was relaxing. A great experience overall!
Have been coming to this clinic for a few months and have seen most of doctors, I have found them all to be professional and caring, taking their time to hear my medical concerns. Receptionists at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. 5+++

I called in this morning to make an appointmentsince I have seen some of the well respected GP's from your clinic in the past at a different clinic as a new patient and was asked a plethora of information for your database which is of concern to my privacy. I am willing to provide my name, contact details, date of birth, address and medicare number. Why do you need to know my place of work? I can understand if you needed an emergency contact other than a place of work but why my place of work, especially when I'm hesitant to provide this information. Further to my hesitancy to provide this information, I was snubbed off and told "who knows, this information may be for big brother" which was rude and unnecessary.
I'm very happy with the experience I had at Ashburton Family Practice. Reception staff are friendly and attentive. Doctors are professional and knowledgeable. Would totally recommend it
My family has been going to this practice since it first opened. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Nuwan Athauda and all of the staff who work there. Mim on reception is incredibly efficient and helpful, and I would highly recommend Ashburton Family Practice to anyone looking for a well run, professional and friendly clinic.

I've always found Dr Deepak Dhokia to be kind and someone who really LISTENS to his patients. He doesn't rush, takes in what his clients are telling him, EXPLAINS why a particular solution is needed and provides effective support. He's a great advocate and provided very useful advice when there was a medical emergency at school which wasn't handled well. Thankyou Dr Deepak :

Highly recommend this clinic. The Doctors and staff are all very friendly and caring. Recently I had to see a Doctor urgently, and Mim at the front desk was very supportive and helpful in fitting me in, organizing a follow up and coordinating with other medical services - it was greatly appreciated.
