Such lovely restaurant to go to with great customer service. The silky tofu was my favourite with so much flavour. The char sui bao bun was such a big portion so you’ll definitely be getting the bang for your buck! Will definitely come back again :-
Cosy place, food is reasonably good although portion is on the small side. Their service is very good and owner is very friendly too.
The family that run this place in Long Bay are delightful and so is the food hand made by them! I had pork belly on thin noodles that melted in your mouth. Just stunning. A bottle of wine that wasn't three times the price I would pay for it at the bottleshop?! Unheard of. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: It's kid friendly Parking: Undercover parking available
Got the seafood laksa and nasi lemak. I’ve got to say that the sambal chilli was super! I loved it so much i could eat it alone with the rice. The beef rendang was nice. The laksa portion is huge, but lacked a wee more flavour. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the place is authentic. I can see a lot of personalities in the decorations and setting of the place. Overall good experience
Disappointing this time. We have been a few times. Before my husband and I had finished our entree our mains arrived. Hubby accepted his but I sent mine back until I was ready and when I got mine it had cooled down a bit. My pork belly made me feel sick during the night and my husband who ate some of mine felt the same. It wasn't that busy and we felt rushed. We will not be going again .
not my favourite malaysian restaurant in Auckland, been to many Malays around the city, manukau and the shore... probably the least I enjoyed. especially for its cost and its portion.Food: 2/5
The laksa, CKT, Meehan pork, buffalo wings and Lorbak are as good as any Malaysian restaurant in Auckland. Probably the cleanest Malaysian food on the shore and criminally underratedRecommended dishesWings, Chicken Satay, Char Kway Teow
One of the worst Malaysian food we've ever had. We went there for a special occasion and what a disappointment the food was. We've always had Malaysian food at so many restaurants and places in Auckland. There's just no taste in any of the dishes we had. Please don't waste your time and money.Food: 1/5
Asked for roti Chennai and dhal. For $10 you get a very small dry overcooked roti and about 1/2 cup of watery dhal. Worst dhal I have tried in 60 years. Make it better myself. Not worth even $10.
Authentic flavours, good atmosphere. About 30pp. Good local for Malaysian food.
