Story

Established in 1992 Food Alley was Auckland's first dedicated Asian food hall, our mission has always been about offering Aucklanders the taste of true authentic Asian food.
We offer 'everyday' Asian the no fuss real way. Food Alley's name is a nod to the 'streets of food', food halls and street vendors of Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand etc.
We serve it fresh, large, affordable and… delicious!
The tiny size of our open kitchens dictate that produce is purchased or delivered fresh every morning. 90% of our kitchens cook to your order, so if you like things a little hotter, the chefs will be only too happy to oblige.
All of our 18 kitchens run from regulated specialised menus which reflect either a country, region, or signature dish. No two kitchens will offer the same menu.
We are proud to offer so much variety under one roof, from Malaysian, Indonesian, Korean, Chinese, Laotian, Japanese (x2),Thai (x3), Indian, Persian and Vietnamese; from Tandoori to Tom Yum we have just what you feel like.
Everyone now knows the health benefits of eating Asian food with many dishes being virtually fat free and with plenty of variety for vegetarians
