The experience i have had at ANZ Chapel street has been incorrect information, charged fees when said we wouldn't be. Emails of personal whinging "i am trying to help you" when asking why promised commitments have not been done in properly and had to be re-done, taking precious time off my day to redo their mistakes. You can't put a reference with letters to your deposits...only numbers "the system wont allow it". The staff members are mostly non responsive. We got an Eftpos machine so we could take payment from our clients and do "pre authorisations" aka bond. We got told by the members signing us up that it was not a problem. Got told after 9 months of trying to get a phone call from the Eftpos merchants that it is impossible to do pre-auth on our account as we are not a hotel business! Our previous Bendigo Bank Eftpos machine has does this fine for over 6 years, you can also do any reference you want with Bendigo not just numbers. Just now I got treated like a "dodgy" person making deposits. After banking with them every week. We only been with them for 9 months and i am really fed up with the lack of professionalism, lack of responsibility, and their outdated systems and banking procedures. ANZ does their marketing well but once you sign up. They couldn't care less about their customers in my opinion. I will try another branch. This one is seriously a waste of your time. Us customers are giving "them" money yet it feels like its the other way around. Not good enough ANZ Chapel Street.

I must commend Christian for his professionalism and effective interpersonal skills today. I was quite upset by the process and he was able to quell the situation and achieve a positive outcome for me.

Bad customer service and inexperience staff. They don't know which form to use. Really upset.
