I visited Werribee Plaza branch to update my name. I was greeted by people running around with their little ipads or tablet devices asking if I had an appointment! I googled it before going into the branch - How do I change my name with ANZ bank? Update your legal name Please visit an ANZ branch with your relevant identification and supporting documents. Your details will be updated immediately on our system and you'll be sent replacement cards and passbooks where applicable complete with your updated name. Nowhere does it say you need an appointment. It clearly says visit an ANZ branch, provide the relevant identification and supporting documents and your details will be updated immediately. I had all the relevant documentation but nobody was willing or able to help me. They insisted I needed an appointment. It's difficult enough as it is to visit a branch during business hours, especially now since they don't open on a Saturday any more and many branches have been closed over the years. I also had to change my name with the Bank of Melbourne. So much more easier. I walked in, the first person I saw said she could help me immediately and it was all done in a matter of minutes. Pick up your game ANZ. You're supposed to be one of the big 4 but this little black duck might be taking her money elsewhere in future. Very poor customer service indeed. I suppose nobody will bother to read this and nothing will change but at least I feel better for getting it off my chest.
I had an appointment with Muhammad Latif at 12:00PM for a 40min appointment, keep in mind I made this appointment so I can do my banking during my 40min lunch break, however 10mins late and another consultant approached me saying he is running 5min behind although it was already 10min then he comes up to me saying you have an hr appointment and I will do your job in before your hour is up although my appointment is only for 40min- so inconsiderate
Rude and incompetent staff. 'Meeter and Greeter' standing at the door wasting time when he could be working at one of the empty cashier's desks to help reduce the horrendous queue. Arrogant attitudes, not willing to listen to complaints.
Worst customer service. No manner to talk with customer. They asking about how much money you want deposit in public. They have to improve them self. And put more staff .
Worst customer service. 3 teller counters 90% times only one teller serving customers & other staff moving around, standing with the queue. He or she can go to counter & serve the customers.
I was arrived in this country and city in December 2013. The next day I opened bank account in this bank. Today I trying to open account for my young son and for that reason visited ANZ bank. There is rule " you need book an appointment" for anything you need do in this bank. My message for bank management is: You are so rude, arrogant and unprofessional. This is ridiculous rules. Michael
it's silly the bank is open 9am to 4pm, weekdays and not open on the weekends. The bank is open on times and days most working people can not visit the bank. Clearly bad decision.
Why are they open on Saturday? I just tried to deposit cash and was told to come back on Monday, as no tellers are open. What bank does not accept cash deposits when they have lots of staff standing around pretending to look busy?
Very rude behaviour and rude customer service from a lady standing at the front door of bank . I went to fix the issues with all the documents and she did even car to look at it. Definitely going to close my account with this bank
