Perfectly fine train station on the Upfield line. Design is similar to many others. The station does suffer from the same issue that Jewel has with a bike path right outside one of the entrances. This station unlike Jewel at least has somewhere to view approaching bikes. The problem is though is that the bike path is woefully small with barely enough for a bike on each side let alone pedestrians as well.
Here's a pro tip or local knowledge depending on what you wanna term it, but for those passing through on the bike track or just happen to be nearby but not at someone's place late at night i.e. those without homes as an example, on the citybound side otherwise known as Platform 1, as you enter the station where the Myki machine is, before crossing onto the actual platform if you look up & just to the right of the entry archway there's a power outlet that works for charging your device OR electric bike/scooter if you've depleted your batteries & can't make it home ... Your welcome!!!
A decent station overall, has most things you need on a station and it's kept relatively clean.
I have found the experience of waiting for a train here to be absolutely sufficient. Sometimes the trains are a bit late, & sometimes they are on time. I have occasionally been a bit of a naughty rebel & downed a stubby whilst waiting! One time the transit cops saw us drinking from the opposite platform, & by the time they ran around to the other side, the offending refreshment vessels had magically disappeared!!
